Seung Hyun grabbed my hand and kissed the top of it.

“What was that for?” I asked him.

“Just because,” he smiled at me.

I blushed and turned away from him, focusing back on the homework sitting in front of me.

I felt him staring at me and I smirked, and then looked back up. “Can I help you?”

He chuckled. “No, I’m fine.”

“You sure?”

“I’m positive.”

My eyes narrowed. “Only fools are positive.”

“Well then call me a fool.”

“Alright, Choi Seung Hyun, you are a fool.”

He laughed and quieted down so I could focus on my homework again.

I saw his body move closer to mine across the table.

I looked back up at him and saw his face only a couple of inches away from mine.

“Don’t you have someplace better to be?” I asked him.

“No. Should I?” he asked, leaning in for a kiss.

I turned my head away so he landed on my cheek.

“Yes, because I need to finish this homework. I have an exam tomorrow… not like you care any.”

“Oh I care,” he said, taking another shot at my lips.

I pushed him away. “Not right now, Seung Hyun. I really need to get this done…”

He puffed his cheeks. “You’re no fun.”

“Hey, you were the one that invited yourself over…”

Seung Hyun sighed. “I know, I know. I just wished that you weren’t so busy.”

I laughed. “I’m busy? I’m not a famous pop star.”

He sighed again. “Yeah, you’re right. I guess I should leave you alone so you can finish your homework.”

I smiled at him and nodded.

He got up out of his chair and I followed him to the door. “The guys will probably entertain me somehow anyway.”

I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pressed my lips on his. “They wouldn’t have entertained you the way I would have.”

He groaned in agreement. “Definitely not like the way you would have.”

“Speaking of the boys…”

“No. You can’t meet them.”

“Baby, why not?” I whined.

“Because their pigs and I don’t want them eye you every second of the day.”

“Not like you don’t eye me all the time…”

“Well I’m different… I’ve been your best friend since high school and I have been your boyfriend for three years. I can eye you all I want.”

I sighed. “I’m going to have to meet them eventually.”

“Yeah, only when I have a ring on your finger declaring that you’re mine.”

I blushed. “Fine then. But you better hurry up with that ring, you hear?”

He smirked. “Fine, fine. Well I’m going to be a good boy friend, for once, and actually leave you to finish your work. Good bye,” he said and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.

“Bye,” I told him as I was walking away. “I love you.”

“I love you too!” he yelled as loudly as he could.

“Shh! You’re going to wake up the neighbors,” I said laughing.

“I love Kim Sol Na to the moon and back!” he screamed.

I blushed and told him to shush again.

He laughed and blew me a kiss from his car. I blew one back to him and he smiled, driving off into the night.

I felt my heart pounding. He is so amazing…

That was three months ago. The day after that, I texted him… but he never texted back. I called him, and he never called back. I looked for him, but I never found him. I was devastated and heartbroken. What had I done to deserve this? Was I too sudden when I told him that he should hurry up with getting me a wedding band? I lost my best friend and the love of my life… and I didn’t know why.
