Since breaking the news to Daesung’s parents everything had been quiet in the group. I mean everything. Selena and Seungri were in Japan once again for his activities, Daesung and Steph flew back to Japan to continue his promotions once she was healthy enough. Steph and Daesung had found themselves not talking to each other since meeting his parents. Steph was upset by what had been said to her and Daesung was confused as to what he should do. Taeyang and Eden were still in Korea, Eden running the Fan Club with a bit of assistance from Hoku, while Taeyang was secretly working on his solo album. Jiyong was also working on producing their new girl group that had still yet to debut along with Lee Hi, while working on his own album. Everything was simply back to normal it had seemed.

Hoku was now about 6 ½ months pregnant, very pregnant, very huge. She and Ji had still not discussed anything about living together once the baby was here, Hoku getting her own place, or anything of that sort. Of course she was living with him now, seeing that no one trusted Hoku living alone, but once the baby was here, she wasn’t sure if she would be able to still live here.

Jiyong wanted nothing more than to be a family with Hoku and his child. He could tell that there was some hesitation about the subject, he didn’t want to push it on her but it was his child too after all. After a while of wanting to ask her, he quietly backed off to give her the space she needed.

“So what’s the plan?” Teddy asked as Jiyong sat next to him in the recording studio, waiting for Lee Hi to arrive. Jiyong adjusted his hat before looking over confused.

“Hm? What plans?” Jiyong asked over as Teddy leaned back in his seat staring at the younger man.

“You guys still living together?” Teddy quickly asked as Jiyong’s eyes shot open before he looked away nodding.

“How’s that going? Any improvement?” He asked interested as Jiyong’s eyes glued to the screen.

“I don’t know.” He whispered in an uncaring voice.

“Whatchu mean ‘you don’t know’?” Teddy spat as Jiyong leaned back in his seat before sighing loudly.

“I’m not sure where we stand hyung.” Jiyong admitted causing teddy to nod in understanding.

“Have you asked her that?” Teddy asked before Jiyong shook his head.

“I don’t want to pressure her or push her to the point she leaves again.” Jiyong whispered nervously as Teddy sighed and nodded.

“What about when the baby comes? What are you guys going to do then?” Teddy asked as Jiyong stretched.

“I want her to live with me hyung, like a family, but I’m not sure that’s what she wants.” Jiyong whispered while Teddy just stared at his friend. They were pulled from their conversation when the door to the studio opened causing them both to look back to the newly debuted girl walking in.

“Ah, there she is.” Teddy teased as the young girl smiled quickly bowing to her seniors.

“Sorry I’m late, there was an accident on the highway.” She quickly apologized, pulling off her coat and bag before placing it onto the couch. Teddy instructed her to what had to be done for the day, the entire conversation she kept her eyes on the busy idol sitting behind the computer.

“You got that?” Teddy asked narrowing his eyes, she quickly blinked before turning to him and nodding.

“Got it Oppa.” She answered smiling as he nodded unsure before watching her walk into the studio. Pressing the button to mute their mic he quickly turned to Jiyong.

“Hey.” Teddy whispered over to Jiyong who looked up from under his hat.

“Have you noticed something about her?” Teddy asked gesturing with his eyes to the woman already smiling through the glass at Jiyong.

“What about her?” Jiyong asked confusing as Teddy sighed.

“The girls got it bad for you.’ Teddy spoke in a teasing voice as Jiyong scoffed.

“She’s knows I’m out of her reach.” Jiyong mentioned back going to his work.

“Uh-huh, you sure she knows that?” Teddy asked turning his attention to the waiting girl. Jiyong sighed, leaning back in his seat once Teddy had turned his attention to the girl. He looked up hesitantly under his hat to see that her attention was on him. Of course he was used to having women swoon over him, but a label mate? Someone he just barely knew, someone he was mentoring, this was too outrageous.

“Ugh, so hungry.” Hoku waddled down the hallway towards the kitchen, difficultly with her leg brace still in place. Coming into the kitchen, she flipped on the light and stared at the kitchen in thought.

“Hm.” She muttered scratching the side of her stomach before walking over to the fridge. She pulled out a few things to make a decent meal before going to the stove to prepare it.

“I know, I know you’re hungry, just hold on a bit.” She muttered to the kicking child in her stomach before going back to cooking. Her meal was finished, she piled it up onto an empty plate before putting it down on the table. About to take her seat, she froze when she heard her cellphone in the room ringing.

“Of course.’ She cursed under her breath as she quickly as she could waddle down the hallway, reaching it on its last ring.

“Hello?” She answered out of breath, hesitantly taking a seat on the nearest seat.

“Ah Dear, it’s mom.” Hoku’s mom greeted causing Hoku to smile. Ever since receiving her memories back and everything that happened afterwards, she had been keeping a distance from her family seeing that it was too heartbreaking to hear any news from the states.

“Oh mom.” Hoku answered surprised causing Paula to chuckle.

“How are you dear?” She asked as Hoku sighed, reaching down to scratch her leg still in the brace.

“I’m fine, huge, but fine.” Hoku mentioned jokingly causing Paula to chuckle.

“How are things going between you and Jiyong?” She then asked as Hoku sighed.

“I’m still staying with him, if that’s what you’re referring too?” Hoku answered.

“No dear, that is not what I’m referring too.” Paula retorted while Hoku just sat there staring into space.

“Dear, listen to me, alright, just let me talk.” Paula added causing Hoku to sigh loudly into the phone.

“I understand why you are hesitant sweetheart, I know all the things you had to go through for and with him, but.” Paula explained.

“He loves you dear, no relationship is ever the best or the sturdiest or the most perfect.” Paula added.

“He’s the father of your child, what will you tell your child once they begin to ask about why their father isn’t around, you can’t use Mikey as a fallback anymore.” Paula spoke seriously.

“This is something you need to seriously consider dear. I know you would choose to fly home and forget any of this happened, but you can’t fly and once the baby is born you won’t be able to fly for a few months. What are you going to do?” Paula then paused to ask the question.

“I’m going to have the baby and then leave.” Hoku whispered staring down to her lap. Paula just sighed.

“Dear, does that make any sense to you?” Paula spoke annoyed with her daughter’s stubbornness.

“That’s what I’m going to do, I have no life here.” Hoku answered in monotone to her mother.

“Alright, let me mention this then, when and if you leave after it’s born, you know Jiyong won’t let you leave with his child quietly right?” Paula pointed out as Hoku hung her head back against the chair.

“He has equal rights to the child now that he knows its his.” Paula added as Hoku groaned.

“Then I’ll just say I was lying, I was joking.” Hoku spat causing Paula to groan this time.

“You’re not getting it dear! You mentioned it, he can get an order for you to do a paternity test to prove it, and when they find out ‘you’ were lying, what?” Paula asked as Hoku sighed, holding her stomach.

“What do you want me to do mom?! Huh?! Stay with him, be a happy family with him?! I can’t do that!! I can’t!!” Hoku shouted now in frustrated tears.

“Dear, listen to me, I know he hurt you, things were done that can’t be taken back but that is all in the past. You need to do what will be right for you and the baby.” Paula mentioned to her crying daughter. Why was it so hard to fall back in love?
