Only One Chance

Description

A story that came up in my head based on the alternate ending for the ing amazing "One Shot" MV.

Work hard play hard.

Except, he didn't believe in this quote.

With play, he believed , was the birth of all distractions to mankind.

Love, lust, , money.

It wasn't play for him.  Never did he view the things he had to do as pleasure for himself.

To him, it was more a part of his pride and life.

It was all work.

Love was work.

Lust was work.

Money was work.

His theories, were never meant to be broken.

However, he never planned on meeting him.

The one person, that challenged his theories... and himself.

When you're only given one chance, how will you live it?

Foreword

The day was suppose to be like one any other summer day right in the peaks of July, palpating heat drumming onto exposed skin, a single pair of shades on the eyes and a thin layer of sunscreen that might as well not be there, being the only forms of protection from the scorching sun.

He had become a respected officer by that time. It was in fact his third summer on the job and by that point his routine was engraved as second nature. It was all he knew how to do, apart from breathing, eating, and sleeping.

Well, sleeping came occasionally, but not guaranteed. If duty called, duty called.

The skill he had was the sole fact that made him so treasured, that was to truthfully say sounded simple, but could quickly turn into the deadliest of them all, as he was in fact dealing with all the Seven Deadly Sins, often times at their point of destructions, and others just testing the gods like a ticking explosive that could explode and corrupt the entire world before your eyes— a fragile bundle of curses and lies he'd throw around and play with all right in the palms of his hands.

Yes, he was dealing with the Seven Deadly Sins and quite frankly, more.

The part of Seoul that people feared, the night life that ruled Seoul and turned the city into a battlefield, the only warriors being the fearless and the heartless that could continue to fight withstanding the constant tragedies that resulted as a bloody prize of death and victory to another.

The world he intertwined himself with.

Earning the trust, friendship, and title of brother, all in his grasp, just to grab the sharp knife called dependence and mercilessly stab one in the back.

That was Yoo Youngjae.

24 years old.

Police officer and undercover agent.

And he never intended for anything more.
