*This is your captain speaking. We have arrived at Seoul, South Korea at Airport. The local time is 2PM. The weather outside is quite hot, approximately 29 degrees Celsius. To those who live here, welcome home and to those who are here on a holiday or trip, welcome to Seoul. On behalf of everyone here of Korea Air, thank you for flying with us and we hope to see you next time*

You have finally arrived in Seoul after the long and tiring flight. You couldn’t wait to stand up and stretch your whole aching body. After what seems like forever, you finally got off the plane and headed to the terminal to collect your baggage before going though customs.

As you stepped out into the main part of the airport, everything seemed so surreal to you. As instructed by your parents beforehand, you went into Starbucks to grab a drink and a seat while waiting for your aunty to pick you up.

30 minutes later

“Minah? It’s been ages since I last saw you. You were this small when I last saw you! You have really grown up so fast” said your aunty happily trying to estimate your height when she visited you in Australia.

“Eemo~ (maternal aunt – mum’s sister) It really has been a long time! I miss you. Mum and dad send you their greetings. Thank you for letting me stay with you.” I replied as we were walking to her car.

“What are you talking about? We’re family. Does your brother know you’re here?” questioned Aunt

“No actually, I wanted to surprise him. He told me that he’s coming over to your house for dinner tonight correct?”

“Actually yes he is. That’s a great idea! We will surprise him, he will be so happy that you’re here!” said Aunt in excitement “Let’s quickly get home so you can rest and I can start cooking for tonight.”

Arrival at Aunt’s house

“We’re here! Let’s go in. Your uncle is still at work so he will be home soon and Jinah is at school so she’ll be home later as well” said Aunt as she helped me bring my luggage into the house “I’ve set up a room for you upstairs which is opposite to my room and next to Jinah’s, is that okay?”

“Yes, that is great, thank you eemo.” I replied as we went into my room. My room was amazing. It wasn’t too elegant and over the top but it want too boring and simple either. In the centre right hand side was a white double size bed with pink, orange and white pillows and blankets which in the far left corner of the room was a huge white study desk made from wood. On the left hand side of the room was a 2 doors, one leading into the wardrobe while the other door lead to a bathroom.  “This is just amazing. Thank you so much~ I hope I’m not too troublesome to you” I said as I walked around my room

“No not at all. It’s a pleasure having you here!” said Aunt. “I’m going downstairs to start cooking for dinner. Have a rest before making yourself at home okay? If you need anything just call out” said Aunt before closing the door and heading downstairs

As soon as she closed the door, I jumped onto the bed in happiness. This is going to me amazing I thought to myself
