So nothing new, just me and my ridiculous idea. I know you guys are bored of me already but I would shamelessly still proceed on posting this. It all started when BAP’s One Shot Album was released and I immediately listen to their songs in it. And if you guys guessed it right then good for you because this story is definitely inspired by one of their songs which is Coma and their spectacular MV of One Shot.

Apparently, while listening to BAP’s Coma, many scenes played inside my head then contemplated whether to start a new story concerning about one of my favorite OTPs: Bang Yong Guk and Song Ji Eun. Since I already have pairs in YG and SM so why not TS, right?

Just a warning, this will be angst. Not rainbows, unicorns and butterflies because it’s definitely the other way around. Uhm, but romance indeed? If it doesn’t suit your taste then, sorry can’t do anything about it.

If by chance you still haven’t listened to BAP’s Coma, I think this is the perfect time to grab ‘em earphones and plug it right inside your ears. And yeah, that’s that. So much to blabber about unnecessary stuff.  Ciao!

Walking in a respectable speed side by side, hands holding nothing but cold air neither did their shoulders touch. Enjoying each other’s company in silence but it can never deny the fact that Yongguk was beyond words, now that Ji Eun was returning the feeling he showed for the last 6 months. A contented smile but later turned into smirk crept into his face. 

The chances of freezing in that ungodly hour of walking in the silent night of the city were highly expected. Not that Ji Eun didn’t wear jacket or Yongguk’s black feathery coat either but still, both were starting to feel the need to initiate something for a small talk to exist.

“You know very well that I have classes in 5 hours interval. So why invite me just for this walk?” Ji Eun irritably complained through whisper while slowly hugging herself, silently praying for heat to conquer her whole frame. She lazily dragged her feet to comply with every step she took.

Yongguk tucked both his hands inside his pockets before glancing to the lady beside him. He huffed, making some air born smoke out of his mouth visible although he wasn’t smoking that time. Only the coldness of that night proved its existence.

“Because I like walking while everybody’s sleeping dead.” He reasoned out with his usual low voice that unhelpfully gave shivers to Ji Eun’s spine. It’s not like he wanted it. He’s telling the truth.

“It’s 3 am.” Ji Eun reminded Yongguk as if he doesn’t know how to look at the time, frowning when Yongguk just shrugged. He let his eyes land at the perfect full moon that selflessly sharing its light to the pathway they were crossing.

“If this thing keeps on going, then I don’t think it’s normal.” Ji Eun muttered.  Words reached Yongguk’s ears precisely, smirk still plastered in his face. “Is it?” He asked more to himself than to Ji Eun.

“Well, yeah? Probably! I still don’t get it what’s so gold in walking every 3 am in the morning, Yongguk.” She resisted the nerve to snap at the said man on her left. The frown never left her. Ungrateful cold wind started to howl at their direction but both were so preoccupied to notice.

“It’s gold,” Yongguk hesitated for awhile before increasing his pace a little then said, “Because I’m not alone.” His voice distressed.

It struck Ji Eun to the guts. She never expected this side of Yongguk, confessing what he really felt. Maybe it has something to do with just the two of them roaming around the sleepy city. Yes, maybe that’s the reason. She tried to convince herself with that.

Yongguk expressed his emotions by actions not by words. So it’s a little odd of him to act that way as to what Ji Eun’s mind said. Not long, Ji Eun strode to match Yongguk’s steps. She always thought that being tall and having long legs like Yongguk’s had its own advantage. Let this walking session be the good example of it.

They stayed like that for a moment until they’ve reached some corner where pictures of different models wearing bizarre hair colors were in it, cleanly posted through the transparent windowpane of the shop. This made Ji Eun stop on her tracks.

She stared at one particular picture, bringing her delicate fingers to caress her own hair. She didn’t mind the wind messing her red curls as well as her slightly loose pajama pants clutching to her legs like it will lose its dear life, courtesy of the unstoppable wind.

Sensing the absence of human heat beside him, Yongguk turned sharply to look at his back and found Ji Eun staring dreamily on the picture. He observed her first before his once-almost-alert face softened. Looking at Ji Eun then to the picture, Yongguk let his back touched the other side of the window along with his head.

“Choose that blue and I’ll soak my hair in red.” It sounded like a threat but being Yongguk he was, Ji Eun knew better than that. She gave him an explicit hope of light through her widened eyes and subconsciously clasped both of her hands under her chin.

“You will?”

“Maybe, sort of.”

Ji Eun was about to grin and Yongguk was in the edge of showing his genuine smile that won’t look like a grimace for the first time when they both heard footsteps approaching. Somebody’s running towards them in heavy steps that could only mean trouble by the way it echoed throughout the place.

Attentively anticipating for the stranger’s appearance, Yongguk blocked Ji Eun’s view in an attempt of protecting her from anything else. Standing firmly on the ground, Yongguk somewhat raised both of his arms while Ji Eun clutched on it. She never knew what to expect in her everyday life, being with the Gang Leader that is.

As the sound of the pounding feet resonated through the cursed night, not long before a panting figure came to life. Hands wiping something crimson off of his face and was clearly struggling to inhale oxygen for his poor lungs. The stranger squinted before speeding up until he was convinced that he reached his perfect destination.

“H-hyung!” It was spoken with difficulty and more like a gasp than a call, the stranger halted and placed his hands on both knees, striving to pull himself together.
