AFTER THE KISS

Guardian Hongki stood there stunned at what just happened, Mi Nyu had kissed him with so much passion that it had left him

speechless as well as breathless.  He touched his lips in shock and then touched his heart, it had never beat that fast before and that's

when he knew he had to go after her.  He turned and flitted away at the speed of light, all he knew was he had to find her and make

things right.  At the corner of the pub Elder Lee stepped out of the shadows, he had come outside while they were arguing and

witnessed everything including the kiss.  He watched Guardian Hongki flit away in a hurry, Jong Hyun started rubbing his chin when a

thought entered his mind.  He smiled to himself as he chuckled at his idea, looks like his granddaughter and Hongki needed a push with

things and Elder Lee had a plan that would actually shove them together.  Mi Nyu flitted away from the pub as fast as she could, she was

so embarrassed by what she had just done.  It was her first kiss and she cringed when she replayed the kiss in her mind, it definitely

wasn't like what she had always dreamt her first kiss would be like.  Hongee was SUPPOSE to tell her how much he adored her before

taking her into his arms and kiss her passionately under the moonlight as the sound of wedding bells ring in her ear.  Instead her first

kiss was totally opposite from that...she ended up telling him how she felt and then attacked him with her lips, and to top that off she

punched him in the stomach for pissing her off.  Her family was right about her she thought sadly, she was immature and hotheaded...a

fire cracker or dynamite to be exact.  She was so upset at herself that she ran into the forest to hide, she suddenly stopped and fell to the

ground roughly.  She punched the ground before she sat up and put her head between her knees, she cried silently feeling ashamed of

herself.  As she was crying she started scolding herself for her own stupidity in between tears.  Hongki used his tracking skills

and quickly located her, he quietly approached her as she was crying.  His heart felt a heaviness he never felt before, he didn't like to

see her cry so he quietly sat in front of her and pulled her into his arms.  Mi Nyu was surprised to feel someone grab her and hug her,

she immediately knew it was Hongki once she was in his arms.  She cried harder when she realized it was him, he suddenly felt the

heaviness in his heart turn to pain and hugged her tighter as he rubbed her back.  When she finished crying she stayed in his arms until

she gathered her courage to face him, she sighed heavily before she raised her head to find him starring at her with a crooked smile,

"Lets go home", he said as he stood up.  Hongki stood up and held out his hand for her to take, her hands shook nervously as she held

his hand.  He pulled her up and held her hand tightly as he dragged her behind him, "Has anyone ever told you that your tears can make

a grown man cry", he asked curiously.  Mi Nyu was starring at their hands, he still didn't let go of her hand yet..."Um, my uncles tell me

that all the time", she confessed.  Hongki turned around and laughed at her honesty, he could actually imagine Jung Shin and Min Hyuk

saying that to her all the time.  Mi Nyu looked up in to his eyes and saw something different when he looked at her, she tilted her head

and tried to figure out what it was.  Hongki laughed at the way she was starring at him as if he was a new species she was studying.  He

tightened his hold on her hand and continued to walk slowly towards her house.  She kept starring at their hands with a permanent smile

on her face, she felt so giddy inside that she was going to explode.  Hongki could feel her starring at their hands, he looked at her and

could tell that she was about to explode, "Mi Nyu...don't hold back on my account", he said playfully.  As soon as he said that she started

jumping up and down happily before jumping in to his arms and hugging him tightly, she loved how he understood her.  Hongki laughed

at her reaction, he knew she wanted to spazz because he was holding her hand.  He had said a lot to her without even uttering a word,

holding her hand basically was letting her know that he liked her too.  He pulled her away from his chest so he could look in to her eyes,

he had never seen her this happy before he thought to himself.  He held her hand confidently, "Why don't we take the long way home",

he suggested with a smile.  He had to admit to himself that he wanted to spend sometime alone with just Mi Nyu, even if it was just a

little more time he thought happily.  They walked beside each other and talked about what they've been doing for the last five years.  She

told him she knew he had been investigating different clans because of her, she was there the day he gave her mom a blood oath.  He

had promised to find and kill whoever was threatening her.  That was the day he rescued her from a kidnapping, that was also the day

she knew she loved him and that her feelings for him was more then just a crush.  She was only 12 years old and still a child, but in her

heart she knew she was in love and from that day on she had only eyes for him.  Hongki admitted to her that he didn't recognize her

when he first saw her because in his mind she was still a very young girl like the day he left.  He also admitted he was instantly

attracted to her which caused her to giggle and blush profusely.  They walked and talked about everything under the sun and found out

that they had so much in common, from music to what weapon they prefer to fight with.  A thought came to Mi Nyu's mind and she

suddenly stopped walking, "Hongee, what are we exactly doing?  I mean what should we do about my family?  Am I suppose to hide

how happy I am or how much I want to be with you?  Do I have to hide how I feel about you", she asked in one breath.  Hongki looked

down at her and saw the desperation in her eyes as she looked up at him, he really didn't know how to answer her.  He walked away

slowly so he could think before he answered her, and when he turned around to give her an answer she bumped in to him causing him

to fall with her on top of him.  They laid there on the ground starring intensely in to each others eyes, Hongki could feel himself pulling

her to him as if he had no control of his actions.  He brought her slowly to his lips and kissed her the way she had kissed him earlier, with

everything he felt in his heart.  The kiss started out slow and sweet until she responded to him by slightly opening so she

could taste his tongue which caused him to moan as he deepened their kiss.  "What the hell are you doing", someone screamed at the

top of their lungs.  As they were kissing they heard someone yelling loudly close by so they stopped what they were doing and finally

realized that they were in a compromising position.  Hongki had his arms around Mi Nyu's body as she laid on top of him with her hands

gripping his hair.  They turned to look at who was yelling and separated immediately when they saw who it was.  Mi Nam stood there in a

state of shock...he had come home earlier and his mother had told him to go look for his sister because she had snuck out of the house. 

He knew his sister had liked Guardian Hongki, but he had no idea that Hongki liked her.  In his opinion and from the look of things it

looked like they liked each other a little TOO much.  He walked up to his twin sister and grabbed her hand pulling her up, "Follow us

home Guardian Hongki", he said in a serious tone.  Mi Nyu turned and looked at Hongki with fear in her eyes, he nodded his head

silently and followed behind them.  Hongki knew he was in trouble and walked bravely to whatever punishment awaits him, he knew her

family was probably going to kill him but all he could think about was protecting Mi Nyu.
