It was past midnight the next day when Guardian Hongki arrived home, he went straight to see his Elder Lee right away so he could give

him his report.  He found him in his study and bowed before him with an intense look on his face which concerned Jong Hyun

immediately.  Hongki looked so upset that Jong Hyun decided to perform a mind melt to see what caused Hongki to become this upset,

he gently touched his head and the whole situation that occurred in Thailand flashed before his eyes.  Jong Hyun reached down and

helped Hongki up and hugged him tightly as he was happy to have him home.  Now that he was aware of the situation they were in he

had to prepare for the worst, he had an idea what to do but wanted to rethink it over before he announces his decision.  Jong Hyun told

Hongki to go and rest for the evening, but Hongki was so anxious that he decided to walk the grounds and make sure everything was

secured.  Jong Hyun smiled at him as he walked out of the study, he always knew Hongki would be an outstanding Guardian since he

was a child.  He would always try to protect him and Hana since the first time his father brought him in to their home.  He is cold and

hard on the outside, but has a loyal brave heart that wants to protect the people he loves.  Jong Hyun truly believes Hongki is this way

because he had witnessed his whole family being slaughtered after his mother had hidden him away safely.

Mi Nyu laid in bed wide awake, for some reason she could not sleep so she put on her fuzzy robe and decided to go and talk to the

moon in the rose garden.  It became a habit of hers when Hongki left over five years ago, for some reason she felt closer to him because

she knew he would look up in the night sky and see the same moon.  It was her favorite place to be alone, it was peaceful, beautiful, and

the scent of roses was heavenly.  She sat on the bench and starred up at the moon, thinking of HIM again.  She hopes he is safe and

well, she closed her eyes and prayed out loud, "Please, please, please keep him safe and protect him always", she said with tears in her

eyes.  Across the garden Hongki watched in amazement as a beautiful young woman cried and pleaded with the moon, the sight of her

made him breathless.  He took a step forward making a sound causing her to look up quickly in alarm.  She starred at him as if he was a

dream, she stood up and slowly walked up to him and touched his cheek, "Hongee", she whispered softly.  Guardian Hongki was so

surprised that he stood there speechless, there was only one person in this world that called him Hongee and that was little Mi Nyu.  He

removed her hand from his cheek and gave her a lopsided grin, "Hey Mi Nyu, you've grown.  Your not a Gidget (girl midget) anymore",

he said teasingly.  Mi Nyu couldn't believe it, he wasn't a dream... she jumped in to his arms and burst in to tears.  There was only one

thing in this world that could make Hongki surrender, and that was a woman's tears.  He held her tightly against him and tried his best to

calm her down, but nothing seemed to work.  Finally a thought came to his mind and he started rocking side to side as he sang

her song.  "It's just like Heaven being here with you...your like an Angel to good to be true...but after all I love you I do...Angel Baby, my

Angel Baby...Woo Hoo I love you...Woo Hoo I do...no one can love you like I do", he sang softly against her ear.  His voice worked like a

charm, as soon as he started to sing she had stopped crying and clung on to him as if he was going to disappear again.  They continued

to dance slowly as he finished singing the whole song in a sweet whisper for only her to hear.  The moon was shining in the night sky as

the breeze carried the smell of roses all around them, Mi Nyu was so tired but she refused to let go of him.  She eventually fell asleep in

his arms, still clinging on to him for dear life.  Hongki looked down at her and smiled, he picked her up bridal style and carried her in to

her room.  He laid her in the bed and tried to get her to release his neck, but she instead tightened her grip with tears slowly falling in her

sleep.  Guardian Hongki sighed and adjusted himself so she could hug him till her hearts content, he leaned against the bed with his

knees on the floor.  Not even ten minutes later he had fallen asleep in her arms with half of his body off the bed, he had never been this

comfortable before in his lifetime.  The next morning Mi Nyu woke up still holding on to Hongki, a beautiful smile spread across her face

at the sight of him..."It wasn't a dream", she thought happily.  She watched him sleep looking over every detail of his face so she can

keep it in her memories forever.  She had an uncontrollable urge to touch his face, she lightly traced his face with her finger tip and

realized he had very soft skin.  She always knew he was handsome, but up close he was flawless.  Her heart started pounding as she

touched his lips with her finger, she starred as her finger glided smoothly across his bottom lip.  She finally looked up to find a pair of soft

eyes watching her every move, "Are you done", he asked softly.  Mi Nyu blushed but looked him in the eyes, "Am I allowed to explore

more", she asked innocently.  Guardian Hongki's eyes widen and pulled away from her quickly, "You shouldn't joke like that Mi Nyu, it's

not funny", he said in a scolding voice.  She sat up on her knees and starred at him intently, "Who said I was joking...yeobo", she said

with her wicked smile which happens to drive the male species wild.  Hongki cleared his throat as he rolled his eyes, "I see you've gotten

brazen these last five years.  What happened to the sweet innocent girl I knew", he asked curiously.  She jumped off the bed and stood

in front of him, "I'm not a child anymore...I'll be twenty next month.  I waited for you Hongee, I will always wait for you...I love you", she

said softly as she starred deeply in to his eyes.  Hongki's heart fluttered at her words, but he shook his head, "Stop it now Mi Nyu...I have

to go", he said stiffly as he turned to leave.  Mi Nyu quickly ran over to him and hugged him from behind, "I'm so happy that your home",

she said with tears forming in her eyes.  All Hongki could do was nod his head and walked away without turning around.  He stood

outside her door and sighed heavily, "I knew she would grow up in to a good looking vampress, but she's beautiful...a knockout", he said

to himself.  He mentally shook his head, "Get a hold yourself Hongki...she's royalty and your a warrior.  You will always be beneath her,

so stop thinking like that", he mumbled to himself.  He walked quickly away from her room with his head down, he was confused at what

his heart was feeling and what his head was saying.  Hongki wasn't aware that his Elder Lee had watched him come out of Mi Nyu's

room early in the morning and over heard everything that he just said to himself.  Elder Lee stood there in shock...until a slow smile

spread across his face.

Author's Note-  Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed this update.  I finally added some romance in it, I wanted to show how much Mi Nyu loved Hongki even if he does have his faults.  My Mi Nyu character is a strong female that knows what she wants and goes for it even if she has to fight for it.  I believe every woman out there has that kind of courage and spunk in them and hope you can relate with her in some kind of way.  I wanted to welcome my new subcribers, you are now a vampire and part of the Lee clan....so smile and show off your fangs :D
