A/N: This is the chapter before the last. To sumiflon, fella I know I said that I'll update last week but something else kept me busy so pardon me. I hope you'll be happy with this chapter, and all of you folks (:

Jessica bawled into Tiffany's shirt, soaking her shoulder within seconds but Tiffany didn't seem to mind. She just rubbed the broken girl's back and whispered reassurances into her hair. However, those words were all pointless.

Jessica couldn't stop herself from crying because it just hurts. She wasn't quite sure now how it all happened, why she'd let it happen, because now she risked losing YoonA forever. She could've kept YoonA if she'd gotten her head out of her arse soon and realised that all she would ever need was in front of her.

"D-Do you think she'd give up on me now?" Jessica's drunk enough to ask this without her heart hurting, without pain shooting through her ribcage, but she's relieved when Tiffany shakes her head.

"I don't think so. YoonA's never given up on you after all these years. Maybe, some other day, she'll be at your door again. She's persistent like that, you know. So stop crying now, okay?"

Tiffany wasn't used to seeing Jessica crying this hard. The girl seemed tough, confident, and strong in the years that had passed without YoonA, but inside she couldn't face her own mind. She could simply choose to get over YoonA, command it like she was a queen banishing her broken heart beyond the castle walls. But it didn't work like that. Three years of not seeing YoonA wouldn't make her forget about the girl.

"I-I pushed her away.. I'm so pathetic, right? Crying like crazy when it was me who didn't accept her.."

"Hey, you're not pathetic. You're just not prepared for this. Everything had been so sudden. Why, you're already a mum without you knowing it," Tiffany tried to lighten up the mood and somehow succeeded when Jessica's lips curled into a small smile for the first time since she came.

"I'm already a mummy.." the brunette mumbled wistfully. "H-How is it like to be one, Tiff?"

Tiffany could not help but smile too when she successfully averted Jessica's attention from YoonA, even just for a minute or two. "I just feel so contented. Taemin is God's gift to us and we're so grateful he came to our lives. SooYoung had never been so sweeter and loving when we have him. I just feel whole."

Jessica smiled feebly, pulled away from the hug and tiredly laid her body on her bed, curling into a ball as she hugged a pillow instead.

"I-I want to feel like that, too. Whole and content. I want to care of Naeun and.. be a good mum to her just like what you are to Taemin.."

"So, you already accepted that Naeun's your daughter?" Tiffany asked gently, her bestfriend's hair and was glad to see that the girl had unconsciously stopped from crying.

Jessica looked up to her, and smiled warmly at the question. "I did.. the moment she called me her 'mummy'. That rush of warmth outpoured through me and I don't know if it's just out of shock or what."

"Do you want to see Naeun? She's in our house."

Tiffany regretted asking that when she noticed the smile on Jessica's lips was slowly fading and that sadness returning to her face. "I-Is YoonA also there? What if she doesn't want me to see Naeun? W-What if she doesn't want to see me?" Jessica asked in that small, insecurity-filled voice of hers. She's afraid that YoonA might not accept her if she would go to the girl now.

"Actually, uhm.." Tiffany trailed off and shifted uncomfortably on Jessica's bed, not knowing how to spill the next words. "..YoonA wasn't there yet when I leave the villa. We don't know where she was since she's not calling. She's, uh, when I arrived here at your building, it turned out that YoonA.. she's.. s-she was still outside your unit, behind your door."

"W-What?!" Jessica felt more light-headed than she already is when she abruptly shot up from her bed and grabbed at Tiffany's shoulders. "Why did you not tell me?! Is she still there?" she then frantically started to get off the bed only to be stopped when Tiffany tightly held her arm and stared at her apologetically. "M-Maybe YoonA's still—"

"No. She already left, Jessi. It's been three hours now. But she told me to.. to care of you and Naeun for a while because she's.." Tiffany hesitated for a second but says it all the same "..she's flying off to Jeju."

"W-What.. what would she do there?" Jessica felt the helplessness again as she waited for Tiffany's response and felt the urge to kill herself right then for being so stupid. Now YoonA was away again without them having the chance to patch things up first.

"She said that she needs to clear her mind and that.. she will meet Victoria there," Tiffany said carefully and bit her lip when she realised that this might not end well, or so she thought.

Jessica went frozen when she heard that awfully familiar name and felt a sudden shiver of anxiety run down her spine when she remembered who that girl is, and what she had been in YoonA's life. There's no reason for her to feel that way, there's no logical explanation, at least she thought she can't find one.

"V-Victoria?"

Tiffany nodded and closely studied Jessica's reaction on what she said, feeling extremely sorry for what she's going to say next. She needed to try something and there's no other way to do so but say it. "They met in Ireland last year and grew close again. YoonA was so lonely without you and.." Tiffany paused and took a deep breath, nearly choking on her own tongue. "..and Victoria was there. That girl has been there for YoonA and whenever she's feeling so down, she would turn to Victoria for comfort and they—"

"I-I have to follow her." Jessica unsteadily made to step towards her closet but Tiffany stopped her yet again with a firm grasp on her wrist. "Tiff, I need to—"

"I don't think that's a good idea, Jessi. YoonA needs time and if you're forgetting it, you told her to leave that's why she did. Let her be with Victoria for now."

Those words made a bigger impact than Tiffany would have expected — if Jessica was surprised when she heard Victoria's name, she was clearly panic-stricken now. Tiffany has to physically stop herself from shooting her fist into the air when she saw Jessica's expression.

"No! I know.. I-I know it's my fault why she left but I don't give a now. Call me names—stupid, psychopath, seaweed brain, whatever—I won't give a . I need to follow YoonA and that Victoria isn't touching what's mine," Jessica said impulsively and harshly pulled her hand off of Tiffany's hold.

"YoonA is not yours anymore. Victoria and her are—"

"Stop!" Jessica felt a prick of irritation and shot Tiffany a look that usually makes other people cry, and the latter doesn't know if it's just the alcohol or her deliberate mind was actually working. "YoonA is still my property. That and her are nothing."

Jessica's head was already spinning, and it isn't because of the alcohol. Her body was burning up and there was a newly-renewed tightness in her chest at the sole thought of YoonA and Victoria together. The mere picture it made in her head had her nauseous and cursing inwardly.

"But Jessi," Tiffany isn't stopping. "You were both hurting now. You need time and so does YoonA. She needs some other woman now to—"

"Hwang Miyoung!" Jessica was obviously losing patience now and Tiffany silently prayed for her life when she noticed that the girl's fists were already clenching on her sides. "I said I don't give a ! Three years were enough for us! I still love YoonA.." the brunette's voice faltered and somehow, her eyes slowly softened. "S-She still feels the same.. And we.. we have a daughter. I am Naeun's mum, not Victoria."

It was all Tiffany could do not to start rolling on the bed and just do some grotesque victory dance at her successful brain as she stayed poker-faced. The spontaneous idea just came across her mind when she saw Jessica's reaction earlier when she informed that YoonA was still there, and she realised that it just needs some more provocation to push Jessica a little over the edge. She doesn't mean to manipulate nor play with her bestfriend's feelings but she's ing getting sick and tired of seeing both YoonA and Jessica being ruptured like this, and it needs to stop.

"But, uhm.. all flights to Jeju were cancelled now because of the mild storm." Tiffany thought it wouldn't hurt to try one last push.

"Tiffany! I have a freaking private plane, okay?!" Jessica was really boiling in vexation now and Tiffany could just grin to herself when her bestfriend irately and hurriedly grabbed some sweater and finally bolted her way out of the room without saying one last word to her.

Knowing that Jessica would finally fight for the girl she loves was a great sagging weight lifted from Tiffany's shoulders and she couldn't be any happier that she did what she had done; though it was totally inane as she thought back on it.

"Curiosity doesn't kill a cat. Jealousy does." Tiffany was already rolling on the bed, laughing her off in triumph and excitement as she desperately tried to make a sober call.

"Babe, Jessi's following YoonA."

"Where?" came her beloved's husky and confused reply.

"To Jeju." Tiffany was sure SooYoung might have let go of the phone when she said that so she was shocked when her wife yelled from the other line.

"How'd that happen?! YoonA just arrived here!"

Tiffany chuckled awkwardly and her lips that for some reason had gone dry. She knew that she owes everyone an explanation and later on she would have to face it. She could just only pray that everything will flow accordingly.  "I'll explain it later but I need you to tell YoonA to fly to Jeju-do now. As in right now. Not minutes later but now."

"But, Fany—"

"Just do it. I'll give you a reward later. Some hot reward, okay?"

This story is one of my favorites. Honestly, I haven’t been as active in Girls generation as I used to be but I still love all the stories. I’m still a avid shipper of the couples. Especially yoonsic. :) and I’m happy to hear from you author because I know that this wonderful story won’t get taken down. I would love a pdf of this story and an epilogue. But nonressure author. Do what you want. Just don’t delete this story or deactivate your acct. I would miss you and your stories so much. No matter what happens, G fans will just have accept reality but that doesn’t mean fantasy and fictional works of our lovely girl group can’t exist. Hwaiting everyone! ?

Chapter 40: Thanks for this story. I loved how you used words not being too mushy or what. Its just perfectly fine. How i wished they are even real. Haha, clap clap. I had mixed emotions reading this story and it's seems real. Tbh, like rollercoaster fun, so daebakk on that and i couldn't comment more, wow. Can't believe that i finished it in less than 2 days, that was surely tiring on my part. But it's worth it after all, clap clap ^^

Chapter 37: Woooa, alright i told myself that i will comment once I'm done reading all the chapters. But, this one is an exemption. Both wanted to be with each other thinking that they both be healed at the same time they are hurting so much. They love each other much but there's this thing stopping them from being getting back, pride i think, or the damage it has cause. Surely, no matter how you love a person, accepting the fact that you might be th one to hurt them the most, is already inevitable. Time won't do a thinf if the heart is not ready to cooperate a, more importantly, ready to love again. A lot has happened bet this two, and the past can't be undone. It was a mistake for yoona to leave just like that. I can't a blame jessie. Now it has happened, actually, although this story already was completed. I still hoped of a nice and warm ending. (You made my heart flinched, haha)
