“What the heck are you talking about!?You’ve got to be kidding!” IU cried out and
stood up from the table.

“He’s not….” Yoseob said in a quiet tone,

“Yah! How do you even know these guys!?” IU questioned,

“They saved my life from getting my kicked by SHINee,
they took me in and paid me well too. They’re my family!”

“Please! Mafia!? You guys don’t even look like you would hurt a fly!”
IU scoffed,

“Ji Eun please calm down---“

“CALM DOWN!? DON’T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN MR. JOKER BOY!
Today I just realized my brother is part of a rich Mafia! Why the hell
wouldn’t I-----“

Kikwang covered ,
“Sister, calm down!”

Ji Eun was in her room and took a short nap from the sudden news,
her whole mind was scattered everywhere, she did not know what to do.

Her brother Mafia?

That means….. He killed people……

A lot?

He uses illegal weapons right?!

What the heck was going on!? Three years ago,
he was this nerdy boy who only focused on his career,
now he’s part of Mafia, shooting people as he pleases?!

“Sister, you awake?” Kikwang said walking in,

“Neh….” Ji Eun said softly,

“You okay?”

“No”

“Sister….. I shouldn’t have told you…..”

“I’m not mad Kikwang”

“What? You’re not?”

“I’m just disappointed you didn’t tell me this earlier”

“Well it’s because I didn’t want mom and dad to hear…”

“You think I’d tell?” Ji Eun asked,

“Kind of….”

“I probably would’ve….”

“See!?”

“KIkwang…”

“Yeah?”

“What made you be in a mafia?”

“It’s actually a long story….”

Kikwang’s flashback

Kikwang finished his third month of law school. He hated it. It was like hell…..
He just finished his speaking class and decided to walk home and
start on his literature project. Kikwang put on his ear phones as he was walking his way back home. As he walked he saw a blonde boy leaning on a wall, staring at Kikwang, Kikwang sensed trouble and turned to the other way, but as soon as he was walking, a tall man appeared out of the corner.
He went to the right and a man came out of an alley. Then as he turned to his last option, two more boys popped up,

“Well, well, we got a rich boy here I see?” The blonde bboy smirked,

Kikwang tried to walk past him but he was being surrounded,
“I really like that ipod, they’re new ya know? How about
given them to me where I can keep em safe?”

“ off” Kikwang hissed,

The tall man then grabbed Kikwang’s hair and slammed him to the fence,
“You better watch your mouth!” The tall man yelled,

Kikwang scoffed, “Or what?”

The tall man grabbed him by the collar and was ready to blow a punch.

Till all of a sudden, Five boys came in and rumbled with them,
Kikwang was surprised, who were these guys? Did he know them?
Well whatever, they were on Kikwang’s side,

They got a hold of the boys, two boys, held down
the blonde boy down and had him locked in.
Kikwang glared at the blonde boy, his eyes were
written hatred, anger, revenge, all over it.

“What are you waiting for? Hit him!” The boy that looked the oldest said to Kikwang,

Kikwang then blew a loud and hard punch, The blonde
boy spat saliva, letting him out a loud grunt, Kikwang
did it again, again, again, and again…..

“Is that the best you got? My dad punches harder…..” The blonde boy said

KIkwang’s eyes flared, then all of a sudden, the youngest member of the group
Bit the guy that was holding him down and kicked Kikwang,
“GUH!” Kikwang yelled, then sooner or later all the guys got loose.
They were released by the clutches of the boys and ran for it,
The blonde boy then threw a huge punch at Kikwang,

“You’re now the new target” The blonde boy said in a intimidating voice
and ran away with his group.

KIkwang touched his bruised cheek,
It hurt like hell….. But at the same time,
he liked it….. He never had done stuff like that in such a long time.

“You’re a good fighter” A boy said to Kikwang,

“Thanks….” Kikwang said, picking up his school books,

“We could really use a guy like you in the group”

“Not interested…..” Kikwang said and left the alley,

“Wait up!” The boy yelled,
“What do you mean not interested!?I haven’t seen that
much hard punches in years! You’re perfect!”

“I told you, I’m not interested, I’m no fighter”

“Oh are you? Mr. Rich head?”

Kikwang witched and glared at the guy,
“What did you call me?” Kikwang asked,

The group of guys separated Kikwang and the boy,
“You heard me, you’re no fit to be in our mafia anyway, You’re written
scrawny school boy all over it.”

Kikwang curled his fist,
“Say that one more time, I dare you….”

“Little school boy”
Kikwang then punched the guy across the face, leaving
a bruise.

The boys separated Kikwang from the boy.

Kikwang wanted more, he wanted more
violence, blood….. Kikwang panted hard,

“How’d that feel? Satisfying?” The boy asked and wiped the blood off his mouth,

“It would be more if I knocked all your teeth out”
Kikwang smirked.

“Oh? A violent one? See kid, you belong
in a group like us, you don’t belong in some
school, doing something ‘productive’”

“What makes you sure?” Kikwang asked,

“Kid, there’s one thing in this worked people want,
no matter what you have to do, you need it,
that’s money… Do you seriously wanna earn money
by listening to some guy bossing you? Or you could
earn money by just using those fists of yours and get
your hands a little dirty?”

Ji Eun stared at her brother,
“Oppa…. I still don’t approve the fact you’re in a mafia...”

“Ji Eun---“

“But…. I’ll try to understand….” Ji Eun interrupted him,

Kikwang’s eyes widened, he thought he’d never he those
words coming outta , “Ji EUn…..”

“Oppa…… I don’t want you to be part of a mafia your whole life….
But you’re a smart guy, you were accepted to the finest schools in this world,
and you were part of this thing for three years already….. So, I won’t
stop you”

Kikwang grinned and put his arm over his sister’s shoulder,
“Thank you sis…”

“But I still want you to start going to school!”

“What!?” Kikwang yelled,

“You heard me! You think this Mafia will
last for a long time! At least have something to fall back on!”

“But sis---“

“Please, Just promise me?” Ji Eun asked,

Kikwang let out a large and loud sigh,
“Araso….. I’ll start studying… But not right away!”

“Thanks Oppa….”
Ji Eun smiled.

“Okay... But, if you promise me one thing”

“What is it?”

“You can’t go to Seoul academy”

“What!? Why!? That’s my only reason I came to Seoul in the first place!”

“I don’t care! You’re smart! Go to another school!”

“Oppa!”

“I can’t let you go there! SHINee attends there”

“They don’t faze me! I’m not scared by a group
name, named shiny!”

“Sister, please….. If I go to school, you don’t go to that one”

“But Oppa I can’t….”

“Please?” Kikwang asked with puppy eyes,

Ji Eun sighed,
“Araso…. I guess…. I’ll try to find another school….”

“Thanks sis….” Kikwang smiled.
He stood up from the bed and stretched,
“Mmmn…. I’m tired… You should get some rest too…. Araso?”

Jie Eun nodded and grinned,
“Neh….”

Kikwang walked to the door ad turned off the lights,
“Okay go to sleep sis, it’s been a long day today….”

Ji Eun nodded and pulled the blankets over her,

“Night Oppa….” Ji Eun waved,

“Night sis” Kikwang whispered and slowly closed the door.

As soon as Kikwang closed the door,
Ji Eun got up from her bed and her lights,
She walked over to her closet and took out her school uniform and hid it under her bed,
“Bien Oppa….. But I hafta go to this school… It’s the only one I got accepted to….”

Ji Eun held onto her uniform tightly and stared at it.

“I hope this SHINee group won’t be too much of a problem….”
