Chilled to the bone.

“Ice Cream!!” you scream, as you pull up to the happiest place on earth.

You were beat from today’s full schedule. School has been killing you lately, and all you needed was a break from everyone and anything school related. What better way than spending it at an ice cream shop!

That’s right. Nothing.

You walk in as the bell rings signaling your arrival into the best place on earth. It was pretty packed for a winter’s day, but all you cared about was the vanilla and cookie’s an cream calling your name.

You went around the places choosing the best toppings and finally after getting your scrumptious dessert got in line to pay.

You look up from your concoction and see the most beautiful figure you could ever lay your eyes on fix.

Catching yourself you close your gaping mouth before you start drooling and set your ice cream cup on the weighing board.

“How are YOU doing today, beautiful?” He says giving you a y smirk. His hair was falling over his eyes, making for a hot one-eyed look,

“Uh—I Uhm—Fine!” You blurt out after stuttering a bit.

You were so surprised at a guy hitting on you when you looked like you had just got out of bed.

“haha. That’ll be $2.97” He chuckeles.

GOD HE IS HOT.

You think to yourself trying not to show your feelings on the outside. You go through your purse trying to find change and just before you know it you drop your purse and all the money flies out in all directions.

So much for being subtle.

In the blink of an eye, he was out from behind the cash register and down on the ground picking up your change quicker than anything you had seen before.

You both reached for the same penny and your hands touched.

Too shy to look up at his face, your reflexes look only up to his nametag.

Kris.

Annoyed the customer from behind cleared his throat.

“UGH. I don’t have all day! My ice cream is melting.”

Just as fast as he got down, Kris got right in his face.

“YOU can leave then.” He snarls like a dragon. You could almost see fire coming from his nostrils—nose.

His. Beautiful. Nose.

Startled, the custumer, scoffed, puts his ice cream down on the desk, and walked out of the store.

“He.  left . His. Ice. Cream.” You say surprised.

“Yeah this happens a lot…” Kris brushes his apron off sighing. “I really need to work on my temper. Ehh, maybe next time.”

No, don’t stop, that was hot, You think to yourself again.

“Yeah, I feel ya on that one.” You say grabbing your ice cream.

“Hey, sorry about what just happened…Ice Cream’s on me. That was unprofessional of me. What’s your name again?” Kris says looking into your eyes.

His eyes were almost red but seemed to be calming down the more he stared at me.

“Deidra.” You say.

“Deidra….” He says in the most melodic way.

“Woah.” You accidently say outload. You were

He chuckles hearing you, and suddenly is walking toward you.

“I’m serious. It’s my break time anyways.” He leads to nearest table in the shop and you both sit down.

Not to mention, he actually pulled the chair out for you.

Ten minutes had passed and he had told you all and more about his exciting life. He was part of a boyband back in China, where he lived, and was here for the holidays getting a job.

“So you’re like…famous?!” You say a little too loud, which was okay, because the shop was empty at the time.

“Yeah…Kinda. Over in China at least. And maybe Korea….and all of Asia. I don’t know, it isn’t much haha.”

“ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” You say a little louder.

“No I’m serious.” He says and pulls out a ring of a funny sign.

He tells all about it and how he has…well…powers.

Speechless, you drop you spoon and some of your ice cream had splattered on your face, right on the corner of your mouth.

You don’t notice, but Kris does and points it out.

“Uhh, you got a little something right there” He

You frantically try to find a napkin around you, but before you can even look up again Kris Kisses you. His lips gently crash with your lips while passionately pushing your hair behind your ear.

He breaks away and looks you in the eyes.

“Got it.” He says.

You suddenly notice the room turns into a romantic scenery. It was darker in the room as if the lights had been dimmed, and there were candles everywhere.

“Kris. Where…WHERE ARE WE?!” You stand up quickly, taking in the scenery. Scared out of your life.

It was like a decked out medieval dungeon, but more romantic, with candles covered in black lace and red hues. It was beautiful.

“Yeah…forgot to mention. This happens whenever I’m with a pretty girl I like.”

He snaps his fingers and the table that was limiting space between you had disappeared, and you were face to face.

“And I think I found her.” He says before lacing his hands with yours.

“Oh Kris…I-I don’t know what to say” You stutter as the space in-between you suddenly closes even more.

Your foreheads are touching and he whispers “Despite the darkness of this cave, You’re sweeter than the taste of ice cream on your lips. The only reason there are lighted candles is because my heart illuminates when I see your face.  And when I ask you to be my girlfriend, Just say yes?”

You heart is beating the fasted you think it could ever beat. Your replay what had just happened, while you mind is fighting the battle. Is this reality? Am I dreaming?

Suddenly as if Kris had been reading your thoughts, he answers your minds questions, by kissing you more passionately and deeper than before.

It had all started to make sense.

You ruffle his hair playfully, whilst looking deeply into his eyes. His gaze turns perplexed, afraid that you won’t give an answer.

“Yes.” You whisper back assuring that this moment had been sweeter than walking into the ice cream shop .  Sweeter than any ice cream you had ever tasted.

You couldn’t stop shaking from the nerves but, Kris seemed to make every skillful move delicately as his hands gently graze your back.

Almost forgetting about the temperature of the, you had the chills.  But your heart burned for him, more than all of the candles in the room.
