> Then suddenly she spotted her housekeeper sewing a piece of cloth, rocking
> in the rocking chair.
> " Susan.. where's mommie and daddie? I wana show them my dolly that Teacher
> gave me!! "
> But the housekeeper just lowered her head as she continued to sew.
> " Susan!! I SAID, WHERE`S MOMMIE AND DADDIE! "
> The little girl became angry as she walked closer to the housekeeper.
> As she walked closer, she realized that the housekeeper was crying.. as the
> silent tears fell gently down her wrinkly cheeks.
> The little girl got so nervous she started to shake and asked once more..
> " Susan.. where.. is mommie and daddie? Susan!! I demand you to answer me
> now!! "
> The little girl started to wail and cry very loudly.
> Then finally, the housekeeper started to speak.
> " Little Ruby.. It's just us two now. Everything will be alright. Mommie and
> Daddie.. has gone far away. It's okay Little Ruby, stop crying. "

> The little girl was now 10 years old. She was strong, she was tough, and she
> was smart.. but she had no love, no emotion.
> Her name was Ruby Jong.. Little Ruby. She was as beautiful as a Ruby,

> Little Ruby- dressed in big black pants with a white shirt that was too big
> for her. She wore a black cap backwards as dirt and sweat covered her face.
> She went outside and played with her favorite ball.. alone.
> " EWW!! IT'S UGLY RUBY!!! THE GIRL WHO HAS NO PARENTS!! "
> " WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? SHE'S NO GIRL!! HE'S A GUY!!! "
> " AHHHAHHAAAHHAH!! NANNIE NANNIE POO POO YOUR A BOY!! YOUR A BOY!! "
> The three boys stood there and mocked Little Ruby as they stuck out their
> tongues.
> Ruby clenched her fists and bit her lip hard. Almost hard enough to have her
> lips bleeding.
> The girl kicked the ball right at one of the boy`s face as the boy began to
> cry and wail, calling for his mommie.
> Ruby stomped off to her huge house, mad, and angry. She was hurt and sad,
> and as much as she wanted to cry, she reminded herself that she was strong..
> and that she would never cry. She hid her feelings deep within that stable
> heart of her`s.
> " SUSAN!! SUSAN WHERE ARE YOU!! "
> The housekeeper, known as Susan, raised her head slowly from the couch she
> was sitting on.
> Susan: " What's wrong Little Ruby? "
> Ruby: " I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME *LITTLE* ANYMORE, SUSAN!! I HATE BEING
> CALLED *LITTLE*!! "
> The housekeeper stayed silent as she continued reading a thick book.
> Ruby: " Susan.. you never told me where mom and dad was. Tell me now! "
> Susan: " Oh how stubborn you are.. I don't know WHY I even bother to stay
> here and take care of you.. "
> Ruby: You said they went somewhere far away, and whenever I asked you about
> them, you always say the same thing and change the subject! "
> Susan: " Little Ruby, you don't have to worry. They'll be back.. I promise
> they will. "
