Personality 
She's usually shy at first but gets comfortable, loud, and quirky as she spends more time with new acquaintances.  But when it comes to showing off her talents (especially dancing), all her insecurities disappear and would really give her best because she likes feeling good about herself. And she wouldn't mind praises here and there.

She is a little bit insecure despite her pretty face and talents because she was bullied in school since she's born the shy type.

Around boys, she's a little bit awkward because she just doesn't know how to act around them!  She's only comfortable with her dad, oppa, and younger bro.  Her awkwardness makes guys curious about her though, because she painfully tries to avoid them.  So they try to catch up with her.

She doesn't know why she acts like that around guys, so it's no wonder that she had never had a boyfriend ever.  That's one thing she envies about other girls because she wants to experience the thrill and blissful feeling of being in love.  

Sure, she does get admirers sometimes but they lose patience with her timidness.  She hopes that one day, someone loves her enough and is persuasive and patient enough to woo her.  To make her feel that she is worth fighting for and break down that wall she has built around her.

She auditioned for SM Ent because she woke up one day and realized it's time for her to shine. To let everybody know that she has talents that most would be envious about.  She can't wait to show those who bullied her that she's strong and has an awesome personality.

She's more of a follower than a leader.  

She also likes reading and observing other people.

She's quite smart and learns quickly.

She's from a happy middle-class family. She has one oppa and one younger brother. Her mom is a filipino while her dad is a korean. She was born in the Philippines and soon after they moved to Korea. She visits Manila yearly so she knows how to speak their language. She also knows how to speak English because that's another main language in the Philippines.
