CNBLUE’s 1st night of concert in Seoul finally finished. He sat on the couch to rest with his dongsaengs sitting beside him. He asked his coordi noona to hand him his phone, and to his surprise he got 30 messages from his friends & family. The first message he opened was from Lee Joon. The text goes, “Congratulations, Yonghwa for a successful concert. Sorry I can’t be there, I had a filming tonight and it can’t be helped. Congrats again!” He read the rest, replied and even called them to say thank you. 

They’re eating when he received another text. 

“Yong seobang! Congratulations on your concert. As expected, you’re all good. Keke we should hang out with the other oppas soon. Hwaiting!”

It was from Yoona. She watched the concert along with Seohyun, Tiffany and Super Junior members.

Yonghwa replied, “Oh, you watched? Thank you! Yes, after our concert. It’s been a while since we all gathered too.”

CNBLUE, SUPER JUNIOR, TVXQ, SHINEE and Girl’s Generation members are pretty close. They gather once in a while to eat, drink and just talk about their lives. CNBLUE is the only group who’s not from SME when they gather but it doesn’t feel like it. They go out as themselves and not as an ‘idol’ from a certain group. That what made them close until now.

The 2-day concert of CNBLUE has officially finished. They had fun but they’re tired so they really need a lot of rest. 

The next morning, his phone rang.

“Hello?” 

“Hello, Yonghwa-ya!”

“Oh Kyuhyun hyung? What is it?”

“Are you free on Christmas Eve? Let’s celebrate together with the others.” 

“Yeah sure! I’ll tell the members.” 

“Okay, see you!”

He got up from his bed and hurriedly ask his dongsaengs if what are they doing on Christmas Eve.

“Hey, guys. Kyuhyun hyung called. He said we’ll celebrate Christmas with the others. Make sure to clear your schedules, okay? It’s been a while since we gathered with them.”

“Ne hyung~” the dongsaengs answered as if they were commanded.

December 24th came. Jungshin opened Yonghwa’s room door to wake him up.

“Hyung, wake up. You have a visitor!”

“Who is it early in the morning?”

Jungshin left and Yong opened his eyes and was shocked with who he saw.

“Annyeong, oppa!”

“Oh, Seohyun-ah! What are you doing here? It’s still early.”

“I came here to deliver my gift for you.”

“We’ll be seeing each other later so why you have to come early? Aren’t you tired from the recording?”

“It’s okay, I’ll give you another one and for the others later too.”

“Jashik~ you prepared a lot, huh?”

“Nope, this one’s special. Open it later, okay? Now go wash up and eat breakfast”

“Yes ma’am!”

Yonghwa finished washing and went out of his room. His dongsaengs are eating while Seohyun is sitting in the couch watching TV. She stood up and walk to the dining table.

“I have to go. I’ll be accompanying Yoona and Tiffany unnie to buy gifts. See you later!”

Jonghyun, Minhyuk and Jungshin said their goodbyes and Yonghwa walked Seohyun to the door. 

“See you later, Hyun.”

“Ne, oppa. See you later.”

They decided to meet at 9pm. The first ones to arrive is the Super Junior members then SHINEE, TVXQ, CNBLUE and Girl’s Generation. They ate dinner first and were happily chatting with each other. They talk about their activities, concerts, comebacks for the upcoming year. As usual, the room was filled with laughter. They’re noisy every time they are together and there was zero awkwardness between each other. All you can see are smiles on their faces.

In the middle of their conversations, Kyuhyun suddenly talk about their love lives. 

“How is the only couple in the group?”

Everybody teased and looked at Yonghwa and Seohyun. 

“Seohyun and I are fine. Getting stronger.”

Everybody around them curled their hands. Eunhyuk suddenly burst out.

“Aigoo~ when will I find mine?”

Donghae answered jokingly, “Ya! you have me!”

Everybody in the room laughed loudly.

Finally, 10 seconds to 12 midnight! Everybody stood up and started the countdown.

10….9….8….7….6….5….4….3….2….1

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

They greeted everyone in the room and started exchanging gifts. The room is so noisy that they can’t hear each other anymore. 

“Guys, let’s cheers for our friendship”, Yunho shouted “and hope it’ll last forever!”

“It will” they said together.

Taeyeon added, “To SNSD’s comeback on January!”

“And CNBLUE too” said Minho.

Yonghwa shouted, “and to everyone’s success, KOMBE!”

“KOMBE!!” they said harmoniously.
