Stepping out of the cold library in to the freezing air, she shivered even harder.

"Should have brought a thicker jacket." She groaned under her breath.

Flexing her fingers every now and then to keep them from freezing in to ice, she walked down the empty street.

"And I just thought he would be here today." she muttered disappointedly.

"I thought you would too." his voice deep and hoarse.

She looked up.

Air was knocked out of her for the second time in her life.
