I pulled up to my apartment. I got out and opened the back seat door.I looked in to see an unconscious daeHyun. I sighed

and pulled him out of the car. Thankfully he wasn’t that heavy.I put his arm around my shoulders and locked my car. I

began to awkwardly drag him up to the top floor where my apartment was. When I reached my apartment I let myself in

and dragged daeHyun inside. I took him to my room and put him on my bed.Thankfully I lived by myself so I didn’t have to

clean up the blood that had dripped onto the floor.DaeHyun had a pained expression on his face. I kneeled down next the

bed and lifted his shirt up.DaeHyuns wound was bleeding non-stop. I took a closer look at the wound and saw a hole. It

looked like a 9mm had pierced him.The bullet most likely came from one of the mens guns.Since this was the only place he

was bleeding the bullet was still in his body.I touched daeHyuns forehead, he had a fever. I went into the kitchen and

grabbed an ice pack and towel.I wrapped the icepack in the towel and went back to my room and put it on his head. I went

back into the kitchen and grabbed two bowls and filled one with hot water.I took them into the bedroom and put

everything onto the side table.I went to my bathroom and grabbed cotton,tweezers,rubbing alcohol,a needle and some

thread and some aspirin. I dumped the rest of the things on the table and grabbed the towel and dipped it into the warm

water. I began to wipe away the blood.At this point daeHyun was in so much pain he had woken up.Before he could say

anything I gave him an asprin made a shushing sound.

“DaeHyun this is going to hurt. It will hurt less if you focus on something else” I said handing him some cotton to put into

his mouth,I don’t need him biting his lip off too.

He nodded and closed his eyes.I rubbed the wound with alcohol and DaeHyun became still. I took the tweezers and began

to dig the bullet out. DaeHyun grunted and kept his eyes shut. After about five minutes I pulled the bullet out and placed it

and the tweezers in the bowl of water. I once again rubbed alcohol onto the wound.DaeHyun did his best to remain quiet

but he still hissed in pain. I then began to slowly stitch up his wound with the needle and thread. Once I was done I began

to clean up.

“It will be best if you don’t move much so when I come back I’m going to help you out of your clothes and into some clean

ones.” I said softly.

DaeHyun had become pale and just nodded. I cleaned up and threw all bloody objects and water out. I grabbed some clean

clothes and helped DaeHyun change. I took the clothes and put them into the wash with a lot of bleach.I moved DaeHyun

to the couch and stripped the bed and changes the sheets. Once that was done I put him back into the bad and added the

bedding to the wash.Once that was all done I went back to my room and sat down in the chair next to the bed.I just stared

at the boy laying in my bed.what happened to him,I turn around for a moment and he’s gotten shot and almost killed.The

boy in front of me right now didn’t look like he could do anything wrong.What provoked those men to shoot him? My

stomach began to grumble and once again I sighed,I stood up and looked out the window.Outside was the shining lights of

New York in the quiet dark sky. I glanced at the clock, it was now eleven. I walk into the kitchen and call for takeout.I hang

up and get my wallet out for when the food comes. I’m so tired but my thoughts keep going back to the wounded boy fast

asleep in my bed.

“I better report in to the commander” I sighed, he’s not going to be happy about this.

I pull my computer out and sit at my desk in the living room.As soon as my computer s on I recieve a call on skype. I roll my

eyes he always knows when somethings up.

“Hello Cho Hee.” the commander said gruffly.

             “Hello” I replied back trying to sound emotionless.

            “We heard about that Incident this evening..Is everything alright? Will the boy interfere with your mission?”the commander

              questioned.
            “No I don't think he will.However with all the banks in the chain shutting down it will be harder to get information.” I

             sighed.

            The commander nodded and stayed quiet for a moment.He studied my face for a moment.

          “What are your thoughts about the boy,,have you determined if there is a connection between him and the shootings?” he

           said hesitantly.

         “No I haven’t, it’s suspicious that this happened near the bank though, but so far it looks like a random beating. When I first

          encountered him he was being mugged. He was able to defend himself pretty well.But no more than ten minutes later he   

         gets himself shot. I should keep him under surveillance for a few days.”I said

       “We agree, let us know when you find something. Cho Hee be careful, and Cho Hee when it’s possible we would like to talk to

        this boy.” The commander sighed and then left.

       I shut the computer off and put it away in the desk.A knock at my door startled me out of my thoughts i went and paid the

       delivery guy and brought the food in.

      “Hello?” a small hoarse voice came from my bedroom.

       I  looked up from the couch to see DaeHyun trying to walk over to me. I quickly got up and helped him stand just as he was

        about to fall over. I helped him over to the couch and handed him my food.

     “Eat you need to keep up your strength.” i said as he tried pushing the food back at me.

     “No that’s your food, i’ll eat later” he smiled as he said this.

    “Listen buddy you may think you are being valiant or whatever. It’s just one meal I can miss it,now eat!” I said my voice had

     become hard which shocked him.

     He stopped protesting and began to eat the food I had given to him. He continued to stare at me with his big green eyes.He was

      clearly trying to figure me out.

     “What?” I sighed.

    “Are you Wonder Woman? Or maybe Batgirl? You beat the out of those guys earlier and then you drag me here and dig a

     bullet out of my side.How did you do that?!” he said in astonishment.

    “Okay lets see i’m not Wonder Woman nor am I Batgirl.Yes i beat the out of the guys about to beat the out of you.Yes I

      saved your life and dug a bullet out of your side. Got a problem with that?” i said.

     “No I don’t have a problem with that! I’m very thankful for you saving my life! But seriou-” he begun to say.

     “Listen to me very carefully how I did what I did is not important.When you are healed you will not speak of this to anyone

      understand?” I looked into his eyes as I finished.

     “I understand. Who are you though?”he continued to pester.

   “Who I am is not important. What is important are those men who were after you. Who were they and why were they after

    you?”i tried steering him away from the topic of me.

   “I honestly have no idea who they were. After I talked to you I began to walk home,the next thing I know i’m being shot at and

     surrounded.” DaeHyun said

     DaeHyun finished eating quickly and fell back to sleep.I looked at his sleeping face ,he was kind of cute.He’ll catch a cold if he

     sleeps here.I softly picked him up and once again carried him to my room and put him down.He snuggled into the covers and

     smiled in his sleep. I grabbed a pillow and a blanket and went and slept on the couch.
