I was 14 when I met him. He transferred to my school and was my sitting partner. I ignored him like I ignored everyone else. He didn’t speak to me too, he only spoke to the tall boy sitting on his right, Chanyeol.

  Until one day, he suddenly turned to me and asked me something I didn’t expect. “Eun Yoo, what’s your favourite colour?”

  “B-bwoh?” I accidently let out a response and turned to look at him. He had his whole body turned to face me, one arm resting on his desk, and one on the back of his chair. His hair was tousled and his eyes were filled with curiosity.

  “What’s your favourite colour?” He repeated. I turned away from him, my cheeks turning a bright pink. I ignored him.

  The next day, when I was putting books in my locker, I noticed a pencil with a note tied to it at the bottom of my bag. I took out the pencil and immediately frowned.  It was blue. Baby blue.

  Still, I took the note and opened it.

  Even though we haven’t spoken to each other at all, I wanted to give you something for Valentine’s Day, but you wouldn’t tell me what your favourite colour was, so I just gave you my favourite colour. I hope you like it!
