Lee Soo Man pressed the power button on his computer, sank into his desk chair and sighed. It had been a long day. There were too many groups debuting nowadays, and the competition was getting fiercer by the day. He sighed again and opened the internet browser to check his email.

Right as he logged in, a new email appeared. He didn't know the person who had sent it, but the subject of the email had caught his attention. 

"Battle of the trainees?" he read the title aloud.

He scratched his head but clicked on the email nonetheless.

There are a lot of idol groups out already, and it is obvious that there are still many to come. But, people have started to say that there are too many groups already. We propose the idea of a competition. All the entertainment companies will produce their most talented group of trainees (either boy, or girl), who will work together to battle trainees from other companies. It will be a television show, and every week, the viewers will vote one team off. What happens after a team has been voted off does not depend on us. They will simply not be coming out on the show. It may seem like a waste of time to some, seeing as there is no official prize to the winners of the competition, but it will give the trainees a sense of what their idol lives will be like, and if they really want to continue to pursue their dreams. It would also give them publicity and popularity. Please decide if you would like to have a group of trainees from your company to be a part of the competition, and email us back as soon as possible.

o1. I don’t like haters, so let’s keep from bashing, got it?

o2. Comment after (or before) applying.

o3. Type ‘Phantom Dream’ any where in the app so I know you read the rules.

o4. I’m planning on letting everyone who applies be part of the story, but of course, some will get bigger parts then others. But if you don’t comment after applying, you will not be part of the story.

o5. For requests, either a friend request or a sibling/cousin request. Not both. There will already be enough characters, and if you do give me a request, they will only have very very minor roles. Plus, they’re requests so they might not even be mentioned.

o6. BTW, the guys will all be mixed up, and might not be under the company they really are. Like one group might have Jonghyun, Doojoon, Thunder, Alexander and Seungri in it.
