More Motivation

whether it's studying, exercising, doing chores or reaching
a goal, etc. if you need more motivation, then continue reading !


 

Motivation is something that many, many people lack.
Staying motivated is one of the hardest things to do for a lot of people, especially for those who get bored very easily.
So, don't worry if you're super lazy and is the type to give up easily; you're not alone!

 

However, being lazy and unmotivated half the time you're doing something, is not a good habbit.

Luckily for you, I'll be here to fix that up and boost your motivation! :D

(however, there are a lot
of different things that
each and every person
need motivation for.
but i personally think that
exercising and studying are
something most people
lack motivation in; so
i'll just be explaining how to
get motivated to study and
workout.

                  { GETTING MOTIVATED TO WORKOUT }                   ;

 

 

1.  F U N

frankly speaking, if you JUST workout thats gonna be pretty boring. believe or not :
you could turn an intense and boring workout into a fun and enjoyable one.
all you gotta do is be creative^^

here's a list, on how you can turn your boring, hard and tiring workout routine into a fun and interesting one:

~ get some company ( exercising with some friends will definitely help boost your motivation )
--- you could go to the gym with your friends
--- join a yoga class ( yoga can help you lose weight too )
--- enter a dance group ( dance is an awesome workout )


~ set up a goal ( setting up a goal will help yourself stay focused on what you want )
--- give yourself a target - it could be a specific weight you want to reach
--- maybe you want to reach a specific goal during a particular period of time


~ make a reward
--- think of a prize to reward yourself with when you've reached your goal - if it's something you really want, it will motivate you to work harder
--- if you're exercising with a group of friends to:
► lose weight; make whoever loses the most weight get a big suprise from the other people
► gain better health; make whoever exercises the most win something special from the others


~ inspiration board
--- put ANYTHING you want onto your inspiration board ( BUT on one condition : IT MUST BE SOMETHING HEALTHY AND POSITIVE )
--- put ANYTHING you desire or wish to have onto the board ( it could even be that cutie celebrity you want ;) )
--- include some inspiring words / quotes ( add some quotes from tumblr [ or anywhere else ] that will motivate you )


~ create a workout calender
--- design your own unique workout calender that will remind and motivate you to exercise
--- sort out which workout you want to do on which day
--- set up a calender to remind yourself which day you want to exercise on
--- different routines each week will keep you interested and boost your motivation


~ stay hydrated
--- drinking lots of water, especially when you workout, will keep your body feeling refreshed and hydrated thus maintaining your motivation
--- staying hydrated is super vital when exercising as it keeps your muscles working and keeps you active

--- start working out at the time you feel most lively; some people feel more energetic early in the morning, some feel more active around 2-3pm, some people feel extra vibrant after dinner. it all depends on your body. workout whenever is best for you


~ change environment
--- go to your backyard, gym room, lounge room, front porch, front lawn, etc. because sometimes swaping environment could boost your motivation


~ buy new gym clothes
--- for those who, especially, love shopping; motivate yourself by buying new gym clothes.

similar to { getting motivated to workout } - when you have fun and be creative, your motivation is easily maintained.

you could try some of these easy and simple advices to help yourself gain more motivation to work:

 

~ decorate your table
--- studies show that the more colorful your environment is, the more active you'll be
--- put anything colorful, bubbly and things you like onto your study table to influence an energetic mood

~ set a reminder
--- write in big bold letters on your laptop screen or on a white board in your room " DO YOUR HOMEWORK ! "
--- set an alarm on your phone to tell yourself when to do your work
--- get your parent or guardian to remind you
--- if you have trouble deciding which homework to do first, consider the following:
► which homework is due first
► which homework is less time consuming
► which homework will your teacher DEFINITELY ( so 110% ) check
► which homework is easier for you so you wont take too long
► which homework requires less researching to do


~ stop procrastinating
--- put EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that you think will distract you into another room, or at least somewhere you cant reach from your study table
--- turn your phone off so you can concentrate better and that you wont be texting your night away
--- turn off your music. BUT if you work better with music, put some of your favourite CALM music on; loud, party music may distract you
--- study in a quiet room - its hard to focus on your work when you're in a loud environment
--- if you have older members in the household, tell them to be as quiet as they can while you're working
--- make sure your light is not dim. if it is, change to another light OR use another 1-3 lamps - studies prove that you get tired and restless when working in dim lighting. you DONT want this to happen to you. so make sure to work in a really bright room
--- if you're the type of person like me, who likes to eat while working - dont give yourself the excuse to walk away and grab some snack. before you start studying / homeworking, put a couple of snacks and / or a bottle of water / juice onto your table so you wont have to leave the room
--- when a friend wants to chat with you, just tell them you're busy and say you'll text / call them back later. dont find an excuse to quit ! ( except, of course, if it was an emergency )


~ candles & room fragrances
--- it has been proven that concentration and motivation can be influenced by some scents. here are the scents that will definitely improve focus:
► bergamot orange
► apple
► lemon / lemongrass
► mango
► eucalyptus
► cedarwood
► peppermint
► pine
► rose / rosemary

--- you can get candles, room fragrances, fragrance diffusers and room sprays all in these scents and in affordable prices

Hey.. thanks for the tips on how to burn belly fat. I've been always wanted a flat tummy like Krystal.. but don't know how cuz I'm the type to eat quiet unhealthy food especially after SPORTS.
Hmm.. do you have tips about hygiene(terms of cleanliness). Like how to smell good all the time, especially GIRLs and you're at school.. so ofc you're gonna smell bad with the sweat and all. I have a friend who's having trouble with that. I tried my very best giving her tips on HOW I DO it, and she said it's hard and all. I'm always like "give it a try. Should do this often. Ofc it's hard at first, you'll get used to it"
Ohhh.. 2nd thing. Any tips on how to have a very soft palm. I play sports, so my palm is VERY VERY DRY and ROUGH. Heheh THANK YOU <3
