Nowadays, everyone knows their favorite idols are in dire need of protection, whether it is from aggressive anti-fans or the sasaeng fans. The same conditions applies to the new super rookies, VIPER. Despite being a new and talented group of six, the girls have already found themselves in a tight bind of so many fans, even before their debut. With their constantly increasing popularity, y appearances, and undeniable talents, the girls were left quite restricted in terms of spending their leisure time. They couldn't even go anywhere by themselves, or in a small group without getting unknowingly harassed by anti-fans or being swarmed by fans. Thus, a bodyguard unit, which consisted of six males, was formed in order to keep the girls safe and to let them spend their leisure time in some peace. LS ENTERTAINMENT, the company who brought VIPER into the entertainment industry, doubted the boys’ abilities, thinking they were just merely fan boys trying to get closer to their “future wife” until they were proven wrong after participating in a field training where their skills shined brighter than any other. With their non-musical talents being acknowledged by the entertainment company, the boys continued to sharpen up on their abilities behind the scenes until the company’s CEO finally gave them a permanent job of protecting the new rookie group, VIPER.

MORE IN DEPTH . . . 

Having being frustrated for far too long despite only debuting two months ago, all the girls of VIPER were relieved to receive the news of bodyguards being hired for them. The news came to them as they were beginning to get into the preparations of producing their first mini-album after successfully promoting their debut single; but alas, none of them knew any specific details of their bodyguards. What their ages were and how they looked like was a complete mystery to the girls. The only thing told to them was that they wouldn’t have to worry too much and that there would be six bodyguards in total. As for the boys, the company had given them an official name, and that they were to be called the EXO unit. That being official, the boys were also told that they would be living in the same apartment complex as the girls, and that they would be living in front of them. They were given little instructions on what they had to constantly do, except that they had to keep a close eye on whoever they were assigned to protect. Other than that, the boys had just about all the freedom they wanted and even more so, the company was to pay for all, if not most, of their expenses; but, little did VIPER and EXO know that their lives would become even more complicated as they begin to fall within each other’s lives ...

We'll focus on VIPER's main vocalist and leader, PARK JIYOUNG. She was relieved when news came to her about VIPER being assigned bodyguards. That would mean she could be able to go the Starbucks down the street of their apartment and talk to the cute boy who always used to take her order without being blocked by her fans, or even worse; anti-fans. Needless to say, as much fans as they had, they also had a large number of anti-fans. Not as much as other idol groups, but they still had a lot. WU KRIS, the bodyguard Jiyoung was assigned, was undeniably attractive. As attractive as he was, his cold, sarcastic, and harsh personality told Jiyoung that they were going to have a hard time getting along with each other.
