It was a rainy Friday, and to everyone’s surprise, there was a surprise exam for the whole morning and they were all vacant for the whole afternoon.

After the test, Myungsoo, Woohyun, and Dongwoo were at their table talking and eating their lunch

“So, where do you want to go after lunch? We have the whole afternoon in our hands” Woohyun said as he took a sip of his drink

“I’m going to go to the PC shop and play games all night long” Dongwoo said, “Tomorrow is Saturday, we can sleep much later than 12am”

“I’m going to visit home, might come back at Sunday” Woohyun said and looked at Myungsoo, “What about you Myungsoo?”

Myungsoo shrugged, “I guess I have to get ready for the family reunion tonight.” He said

“Oh right! You got a family reunion tonight.” Dognwoo nodded and rook a bite of his lunch

“But isn’t the reunion still at night?” Woohyun asked

“I have to get ready before that time. I don’t have any nice clothes, so I think I have to buy something to wear. You know my family, always strict in clothing” Myungsoo said

“Ah! Yeah. I remember the time when Dongwoo wore his street clothes when we attended your birthday party when we were still in high school. He wasn’t allowed inside and you had to lend him some clothes to wear” Woohyun laughed

Dongwoo made a face, “I received nothing about having to wear a tuxedo”

“Yes you did. It said clearly in the bottom of the invitation to wear formal clothing” Woohyun said

“I thought it was just a card design” Dognwoo made a face

“I still remember it clearly Dongwoo just like as if it were yesterday” Myungsoo said

“Yeah. That was the last time Myungsoo ever held that kind of birthday party. After that, he only celebrated his birthday with us” Woohyun said

Dongwoo nodded, “It was also the last time we saw Soomin-“

Woohyun covered Dongwoo’s mouth before he could say the name, Woohyun gave him a look to shut up. Dongwoo remembered and nodded. The two of them turned to Myungsoo, who was wearing a poker face.

“Forget it Myungsoo. Think about your family reunion. It will be nice to see your relatives again after years” Dongwoo said, *I totally forgot to never mention that name again* Dongwoo thought

Myungsoo nodded, “Araso, I better be going first now” Myungsoo said and left the room.

When Myungsoo was out of sight Woohyun was about to hit Dongwoo, “Never mention that name again” He said, “It will get Myungsoo depressed”

“It’s not my fault. It’s Soomin’s fault for disappearing all the sudden.” Dongwoo said

Woohyun softly looked at Myungsoo, “I really feel sorry for Myungsoo. It must be hard for him to accept the fact that his girlfriend is dead”

It was 4 in the afternoon it stopped raining for a while, Myungsoo finished shopping for his clothes to wear that night, he had it immediately washed in a small laundry shop that offered a quick wash.

Waiting for his clothes to dry was so tiring so Myungsoo decided to take a walk around the block, brought with him his umbrella just in case it will rain again.

Myungsoo took a deep breath, the air was so fresh and the surrounding block was so clean, *It really is nice to be outside after the rain stopped* He thought and walked around the block.

As he walked further, he noticed a small coffee shop, it looked nice and the aroma of coffee beans was in the air

Then suddenly, a figure stepped out of the coffee shop and looked up to the sky.

Myungsoo did a double take at the figure, he froze and gazed upon the familiar figure in front of him. Myungsoo felt as if time has stopped for a while when he saw a similar figure of his old girlfriend. He walked closer to that figure but then he was distracted by water getting on his shoulder.

“What the-“ He turned to a little with a water gun

“Sorry” The boys bowed and left.

Myungsoo turned his attention back at the girl, but the girl turned around and entered the coffee shop again after she was being called.

Before Myungsoo could go after her, he received a two text messages, one form the laundry shop owner and from Sunggyu. The laundry shop informed Myungsoo that his clothes were already dry, and Sunggyu texted Myungsoo the address of the hotel of the reunion and told him that it would take a while before he could arrive there and he should be on his way there right now to avoid traffic

*Shoot!* Myungsoo looked at the girl inside the coffee shop before he turned to go, *Next time* He thought and went to get his clothes. He quickly changed into them at the laundry shop.

While going to the hotel, Myungsoo couldn’t stop thinking about the girl at the coffee shop, *Was I dreaming or does that girl looks very identical to Soomin?* He put his put his index finger and thumb on his chin, *Could it be Soomin? Nah, Soomin is dead. Or is she?*

Finally, Myungsoo arrived at the hotel just before the party started.

Myungsoo fixed his tie and went into the hotel’s lobby where he met his brother

“Just in time bro” Sunggyu slung his arm around Myungsoo’s shoulder.

“Why does it have to be here? This hotel is far from my place” Myungsoo said

“I know, it is also far from my dorm, but what can we do, it has to be here” Sunggyu said

“Kim Myungsoo! Kim Sunggyu!” a voice called

Myungsoo and Sunggyu turned to see their cousin’s Ricky and Changjo

“Hey cousins!” Sunggyu waved

Ricky and Changjo waved back, “Only you two came?” Ricky asked

“Of course not, our parent are also here, I believe they came ahead of us” Sunggyu said

“No, I mean without anyone else. Last time you brought with you your girlfriends” Changjo said

“I remember well, Sunggyu would always bring a different girl every reunion ever since he was 12 years old” Ricky pointed out

“And that Myungsoo brought only the same girl, twice” Changjo added

Myungsoo’s smile faded, *Soomin are you really dead?*
