Breathe in.

“Channie?” She called again, her voice shaky.

Breathe out.

“Himchan?” Great job trying to hide the panic.

“Yeah, I’ll be out soon.” Himchan replied, reaching to turn off the faucet. He wasn’t actually done with his shower; he hadn’t even touched the soap yet. But he was more than willing to cut it short, because how could he explain why he had been in there for a half hour doing nothing but watch the water run down the drainage hole? Because how could he tell her? -That he was broken.
