He was sure the tall brunet had noticed his presence just as Myungsoo had been aware of him since the very first time he saw him.  They had never spoken but he gave him a friendly smile, a simple stretch of the lips that didn’t show teeth.  Myungsoo returned it with a quirk of his own. 

The sales representative was unsure of how long it had been since the start of that routine when, on a particular day, he saw the male board the bus with an obviously sour look on his face.  He didn’t look up like usual but sat at his usual spot.  He seemed angry, at least when Myungsoo compared it to the other times.  He stared at the male thoughtfully and was rather surprised when someone took a seat next to him.  The tall male moved closer to the window and turned his back towards the newcomer.

From what Myungsoo could see there were few words and not so friendly looks directed to the male next to him.  That day he got off a couple of stops too soon.  His only comfort was that the guy turned to give him a small smile before pushing past the other who had moved and followed after him.
