First Day of School

"Good morning world!" I said as I woke up.

I quickly went down to the kitchen to eat my breakfast.

As usual My mom cooks very delicious meals and as usual my tummy accepts all of them whole-heartedly.

"Good morning mom!"  I said and planted a quick kiss on my mom's cheeks.

"Aww! You are really excited uh. Nice to know that!" she said and smiled at me.

I quickly positioned myself at the table, ready to dig in.

"Mom! What's for my lunch today?" I asked but deep inside my mind I know it will be special.

"Fried Chicken and Rice," she said flatly. I pouted at the thought of simple lunch waiting for me.

I think my mom saw my sad face so she quickly said.

"Plus a very nice side dish made by the awesome hands of Mrs. Kwon," she said. She really is a funny mom.

"I'm glad Mrs. Kwon is my mom!" I exclaimed.

"but I wish I met Mr. Kwon" I mumble to myself.

"I'm sorry that you haven't met your dad." Jiyoon's mother mumble to herself.

"Uh Mom! I need to go! Still gonna catch a ride on the terminal!" I said and made my way to the terminal.

I hope this school year will be fun!
