Description

something like forgotten love then found in the end. like that.

Foreword

Why can’t I get you out of my head?

Why can’t I remove your every image off my mind?

What are you?

A monster?

An alien?

Or simply a witch?

Tell me! why can’t I forget you?!

-

Jin sat down on his beanie with a sigh.

Another day has gone.

Another struggle.

Why the hell is he like this?

Why can’t he just go and pretend that he is not noticing anything nor thinking of it?

In any case, he doesn’t want to care, or to think of it.

But,

It occurs every time he wants to avoid it.

It’s always there.

It was never gone in the first place.

.

Why?

Why can’t he just-

Forget it.

It’s not gonna work.

It will never work.

Sigh.

Who can he run to for help?

A friend?

No. Absolutely not!

Thinking of asking a friend about this is freaky enough to raise goosebumps.

That himself?

No ing way!

He’ll make fun of him forever if he told him.

There I no one he can run to for help but himself.

No fairy, no shaman he can ask about his problem right now.

And for the record?

He’s not even gay.

-

A phone call disturbed his train of thoughts.

CALLER:

Kamenashi

“hello?” he greeted as he answered the phone. He was not a bit sure about this because right now, Kamenashi is the last person he would want to talk with right now.

“hello? Akanishi? are you busy?” he asked, noise on the background as if he was in a karaoke or something. Well, it is always safe to assume the karaoke right?

“uhm... no... not really... why?” he asked, looking for his keys and his wallet already since he was also assuming that Kame would invite him out since he called from a really noisy place.

Which turned out right.

“wanna come? I’m at la rus right now with maru and tat-chan,” he shouted over the phone. Jin was not deaf but from Kame’s perspective, yeah. It’s understandable.

“uhm, sure. Whatever. I’ll be there in 30,” he spoke and the line went dead. He managed to change clothes in 5 and then drive there in 10.

But he said 30, right?

So, to make it a decent talk, he stopped at a 7-11 and grabbed some food first and ate before going. It took him a good deal of 25 so, his 30 is valid.

“5 late,” Kame commented as he appeared. Jin noticed how Kame looked at him. Actually, not just looking.

Kame was examining him.

From head to his toes.

“didn’t know you like CK?” Kame raised a brow and turned back to his drink.

The place was a bit calmer now than what jin imagined over the phone.

He was thinking chaos back then.

“huh? Oh. Not really,” jin answered and sat beside Kame who was already talking to maru about something he was sure he can never relate.

Love.

“jin, I thought I saw you last time at this really expensive store,” tat-chan spoke, throwing him a shot glass that he managed to catch. It could have been another payment if it broke. Not by him though. But by ueda himself.

“me? I don’t buy expensive things. I kinda settle for the less,” he smiled and he placed the shot glass at the counter table and the bartender attended to it, giving him a strong one.

“thanks,” he murmured and the man behind the counter smiled at him.

-

Kame knew.

From the start he knew.

He wasn’t just anyone.

He was akanishi jin.

He is not just any akanishi jin.

But that akanishi jin.

“hard? For starters? You haven’t been here for more than 50 but you are starting with hard?” Kame asked, now completely turning to the man.

“I ate before I came here,” he murmured and gulped down the liquid that burned his throat in a rather good way.

“I know,” Kame smiled and drank his fair share of alcohol.

“huh?” jin asked, confusion coloring his eyes.

“you ate. I can smell it,” he smiled shyly at the man before taking down another.

Jin was obviously baffled.

Kame pointed his nose and the message became clear.

He’s got that magnificent gift of smell.

And he was able to smell some heavy wheat grass from the man in front him.

“didn’t know you like wheat grass,” he commented as he leaned closer so they would be able to hear each other clearly.

“you can smell wheat?!” jin exclaimed and it made him giggle.

Like, isn’t it obvious?

“wheat has no scent at all,” jin spoke and smelled his own breath.

Nope. A negative. No smell at all.

“just my really sharp sense of smell,” Kame winked and there it goes again.

His favourite part of their conversations.

His blushes.

-

“you blush nicely,” he would say those words on a normal basis of their conversations.

But for jin, it’s always new.

And he would blush even more.

Kame would giggle.

He knows this.

He can deal with this like how he deals with it every ing day of his life since he met Kame.

He can do this.

But one thing that would always get him off-guard.

His kiss.

At first, it was just the cheeks.

After a year, it went nearer his lips.

Then, five years after of not reacting violently to it,

His kisses went to his lips.

“you should blush more often, I think,” the man commented without looking at him.

4:00

Saturday officially and he smiled.

No work means rest.

Finally.

He would not see Kame the whole day and he can rest his mind from him.

But not right now.

“why?” the man beside him asked. He was baffled.

Why?

“why do you allow me to do it? To kiss you?” the man asked, looking down at his glass.

“I don’t know,” he answered truthfully and then blushed again.

Great.

Just like how he needs it.

“don’t you think I’m gay?” the man asked and jin shrugged.

Of course he thinks kame’s gay for doing this to him!

But he can’t seem to bring it up to the man.

And he would never dare unless Kame admits this to him personally.

He would not cross that line.

He’d be a good boy and would remain silent for as long as it takes.

He would be akanishi jin.
