Yongguk laughed throatily upon hearing Youngjae's words.

"Well said."

Another blackout.

"You got a candle?" he heard the younger ask with a surprisingly small voice for his usually bold personality.

"Scared of the dark?" he teased, only to feel a body press against his side.

"I, um... a... a little?"

For a moment Yongguk was surprised, then he smiled and carefully led the trembling boy into the kitchen to find a candle, holding him and softly kissing his hair to soothe him.
