I walk along the streets. Towards Baekhyun's apartment. Today is my birthday and i decided to find him since im a little bored.

But it is a big mistake.

When i arrive, his door is unlocked. I step inside and walk towards his room. But i stopped. Because i cant believe what my birthday present from him was. A moan.

He.is.cheating.on.me. 

I felt my knees weaken. But i force myself to run out of his apartment.

All i could do is cry. Then i felt raindrops. The rain just add onto my day. I walk back to my own apartment. All the passer-bys run away from the rain, looking for a shelter. But only me continued walking. I reach my apartment and took out my key, push it into the keyhole. 

Unconsciously, i walk towards the washroom. I didnt bother to take off my clothes at all. All i do is turn on the tap. The water is only warm. I turn it to hot and it got hotter and hotter until a normal person will scream out loud because it is burning them. But i wouldnt. Cause i couldnt feel a thing. The washroom is misty and i couldnt even see my reflection in the mirror. It is all until my bestfriend, Yumi who is staying with me, barge in and turn off the tap. 

"Are you crazy?! Just because of a man, you got yourself into this?!" Yumi shouted at me. She never trust men. And she never will. 

My heart is already shattered, in pieces. I ignore her. But what she said next is what i remembered for the rest of my life.

"Lee Jieun, love is fragile. Thats what i always told you. Men only think us as toys. Thats why we must be independent. We shouldnt rely on them. We have to be strong ourself." 

Yeah. To men, we are only toys. So we shouldnt be heart broken over them. But i couldnt help it. The pain is inbearable. Yumi left me alone to think about it. 

I walk to my bedroom and change since my clothes are wet. 

As i walk along the streets, i heard someone call my name.

"Jieun!"

"Oh Baekhyun its you."

"whats with the unhappiness?"

"Nothing."

"happy birthday! Heres your present." he handed me a wrapped present.

"Nah, i already receive it."

"Mwo?"

"just now. When you are having a great time with another woman."

"J-Jieun ah l-let me explain..."

"I had enough of this. All this time you treated me as nothing but a toy. We have dated for 3 years Baekhyun. 3 ing years. And all th chances i have given to you cant be counted."

"Im sorry Jieun. Please give me one more chance. One last chance."

"that tactic is already used."

"I wont cheat on you again."

"Tactic used."

He open his mouth but i cut him off by walking away. He didnt chase after me. 

Byun Baekhyun, its all over. All over. The show is over too. Goodbye and lets hope this goodbye is forever.
