Meet Nehi, an implusive and silly 18 year old who just got a full scholarship to Seoul University. Overjoyed to get this once in a lifetime to learn, she runs into a tiny problem once she moves to Korea- she has no home. Desperate for a real house and not a slurry of hotel rooms, she takes the first roomate oppurtunity she can get. March 28, 2012. I'll never forget that day. That was the day when my life changed forever.
That was the day my acceptance letter from Seoul University arrived.
"MOM! MOMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled, jumping over the coffee table.
"Nehi-ah, be careful! You're going to break something," my mom scolded. I ignored her, holding the thick white envelope out for her to see.
"It's from Seoul University," she gasped, eyes widening. I nodded, and carefully, hands trembling, opened the letter that held my life inside.
"Dear Ms. Etoile, we are pleased to inform that you have been accepted to Seoul University--" I screamed, jumping up and down, not able to contain my happiness while my mom beamed, crying tears of joy.
