THUMP...THUMP...THUMP...THUMP...THUMP

A short boy tightly held onto a wooden bow, his left eye closed as he aimed for his target. The brunette drew the bow back so his arm made a sharp 'v', he quickly released and heard the whiz as the arrows fletching almost hit his cheek.

Minseok smiled as he gently placed his bow onto the wood floor and walked forward to pull the arrows out of the brightly colored target, he hummed to himself as he did so.

He repeated this process numerous times until his brother walked in while rolling his eyes. "Minseok come on mom called and said she needs us home ASAP."

The younger turned to his older brother and gave him a pout, "Just one more round! Please!"

Minho rolled his eyes, "Fine, I don't even understand why you do this junk anyway." He mumbled the last bit to himself as he sat down near the door, his head resting on his fist with his eyes expressing the pure boredom that he felt.

Minseok just kept a smile on his face as he got to shot again, this time he was a bit too excited and the fletching grazed his cheek. His brother raised an eyebrow when he noticed but didn't say anything. The younger quickly jogged over to the target to clean everything up and put everything in it's place.

Minho stood up and brushed some imaginary dirt off his pants, not bothering to help his brother. He gave him a pat on the head as soon as they got out of the building. Minseok knew his brother didn't like picking him up from here, or anything that could be remotely similar to being an elf since his brother released those roots from him long ago. Anything musical also gets him a bit on edge, he doesn't like to be reminded of the elf that will be apart of him no matter what.

The ride back to their house was a comfortable silence, the only thing heard was the breath of either boy since the car radio was broken and in desperate need of repair.

When they arrived home Minseok was the first in the door, is brother following much slower behind him.

"Mom we're home!" Minseok smiled when he saw his mothers back. She turned around, not before quickly hiding something behind her, and smiled at her sons.

"W-welcome home, boys."

Minseok raised an eyebrow, "What do you have behind your back?"

His mother stiffened, "Nothing. What are you talking about?"

"It sure looks like something." He grinned and launched forward to desperately grab whatever his mother was keeping hidden from him. As he tried to reach around the elf, his brother walked behind her and snatched it from her grasp. She whirled around and glared at him.

When Minho read what was on the letter he rolled his eyes and threw it at Minseok, "It's junk mail."

Quickly catching it, Minseok raised an eyebrow as he looked down at the letter. He quickly opened it, curiously wondering what the contents woul
