Kai groaned, rubbing his eyes as light breached through the cracks of the curtains, pushing himself up and stumbling to the kitchen. The pale male next to him whimpered, burrowing down into the sheets as his source heat left the bed. Groggily Kai poured himself a cup of coffee, wiping the sleep out of his eyes. He put on another pot for his 'house guest' before padding over to the sofa. Rain pitter-pattered against the windows and a clap of thunder sounded in the distance as a storm moved over Seoul, sleeking the streets.

The dark skinned man sipped his coffee, switching on the tv and reclining in his usual spot on the couch. Kai grabbed his phone from the coffee table, the screen blinking with the words 'One Missed Call' and below it 'One New Voicemail'. Tapping the 1 on the screen, he placed his phone to his ear, about to turn the television down when the news anchor caught his attention. 

"This just in; our correspondents just reported a hit and run case that happened last night around eleven-thirty. The victim is identified as Do Kyungsoo, a law student at the University of Seoul. We'll have more on this story later. Back to you, Leeteuk."
