Jessica stirred and slowly opened her eyes. She sat up and grabbed her phone to check what time it is already. I was already 6 pm. She noticed a piece of paper so she went over to get it. She opened the note and began to read:

 

Hey, Jess! In case you're wondering how you got here in your room, you slept during the movie and I had a hard time waking you up so I carried you out of the movie and sent you home. I'll fetch you on Monday morning for work so don't you dare try to wake up late!! keke :D Have a good sleep if ever you'll come back to bed after reading this note  ~ Sooyoung

 

Jessica smiled as she finished reading the note. She got out of her bed and headed downstairs. She saw her sister making dinner in the kitchen

 

"Krys, what's for dinner?" Jessica asked as she sat down on the dining chair

 

"just ramen! I'm too lazy to cook!" Krystal said and placed the bowl of ramen on the table. Jessica only shrugged and began to eat the ramen

 

-after dinner-

"Krys, I'll be out for a while! I'll just bring the keys along with me in case I get home late!" Jessica said as she put on her jacket and grabbed her purse

 

"ok! But where are you going?" Krystal asked curiously

 

"Just somewhere! Bye, Krys!" Jessica said and headed outside. She began to walk towards the park

 

-park-

Jessica sat down on one of the swings and began swinging back and forth. She looked around the park and saw that there were only a few people in the park. But most of them are couples

 

"you know, you shouldn't be out here in this time of night especially when you're alone" Jessica turned around to see Sooyoung walking towards her direction

 

"what are you doing here?" Jessica asked curiously

 

"I should be the one asking that, you know! I'm just taking some fresh air! You?" Sooyoung said as she sat on the swing next to Jessica

 

"same!" Jessica said smiling

 

"I think the ice cream parlor is still open! Let's go have some! My treat" Sooyoung offered and began to stand up. Jessica smiled and also stood up and both headed to the ice cream parlor

 

-ice cream parlor-

"here you go! One strawberry for you and a choco mint for me!" Sooyoung said as she placed two bowls of ice cream on the table and sat down in front of Jessica

 

"thanks, Soo!" Jessica said as she took the bowl and began to eat her ice cream

 

"you're welcome" Sooyoung smiled as she began to eat her ice cream too

 

When they finished their ice cream, they went outside. Just then, snow began to fall. Sooyoung smiled as she looked up the sky

 

"wow! The first snow! I didn't realize that Christmas is almost coming!" Sooyoung said smiling

 

"yup! We've all been so busy that we didn't realize how much time has already passed! And that reminds me, Yuri's birthday is already coming! I think we should begin shopping now and send it to Paris" Jessica said

 

"! I almost forgot! Glad you remind me about Yul's birthday, Jess!" Sooyoung said

 

"you forgot her birthday!? I wonder how she'll feel when she heard that her beloved buddy had forgot her birthday?" Jessica said shaking her head

 

"erm, she'll sad? But it isn't my fault! I just lost track of time! Anyways, let's buy gifts for her tomorrow! What do you say?" Sooyoung said smiling

 

"sure! I need to go home now! Bye, Soo!" Jessica said. She was about to cross the road when Sooyoung immediately pulled her back, startling her. She just realized that a speeding motorcycle driver was about to hit her when luckily, Sooyoung grabbed her in time

 

Sooyoung was backhugging her. Her one arm around Jessica's shoulder and the other around her waist. Jessica could feel Sooyoung's breath on her neck due to close contact

 

*dugeun  dugeun  dugeun

 

Jessica's heart began to beat wildly, not knowing why. Finally, Sooyoung released her arms around the girl and turned Jessica around to face her

 

"you okay?" Sooyoung whispered.

 

"y-yeah" Jessica began to stutter

 

! what's going on with me??

 

"Thanks, Soo!" Jessica said smiling

 

"no worries! Now let me take you home before something happens to you!" Sooyoung said. She held Jessica's hand sending some sparks through the girl's spine.

 

Few minutes later, they arrived in front of Jessica's house. Jessica turned to face Sooyoung and smiled

 

"thanks for taking me home, Soo! And for what happened tonight!" Jessica said

 

"no problem! You better get inside now! It's already late! Goodnight, Jess" Sooyoung said smiling

 

"Goodnight, Soo" Jessica said and entered inside the house. She leaned against the door and held her hand on her chest which was still beating wildy

 

why the hell I'm feeling like this??

 

"unnie! You okay?" Jessica looked up to see her sister looking weirdly at her

 

"huh?" Jessica asked confused

 

"you're leaning against the door while holding your hand on you chest! What's wrong?" Krystal asked curiously

 

"n-nothing, Krys! I'm going to bed now! Goodnight!" Jessica said and hurriedly went to her room. Krystal stared at her weirdly. She looked through the window and saw Sooyoung walking away

 

is it about Sooyoung unnie?

 

Krystal just shrugged her shoulders. She turned out the lights and went back to her room

sorry if it's short since I ran out of ideas today....

anyways, It's already december and christmas is coming~!

and our black pearl's birthday is also coming up!!

yehey~!

only 3 more days to go and it's finally Yuri's birthday!!

so, I'm thinking of putting a special yoonyul chapter on the day of her birthday!
