Seokyu POV:



I woke up at 6:00 am in the morning like every other day. I turned my alarm off and got

out of bed. I then headed straight to my bathroom to do my daily routines.



soon I was dressed and headed down stairs.



Only to be greeted by maids and my personal butler Mr. Li. Like usual, I saw that my

parents weren’t there and was replaced by emptiness. I thought..

“They must have gone to another business trip overseas.”

Soon enough Mr. Li confirmed it for me.

“Good Morning Ms. Chang, Your parents are on a trip overseas once again.” Said Mr. Li

“Oh, I see… is my breakfast ready?” I asked

“Yes it is. It’s at the dining room table.” Mr. Li said

“Thank you.” I said and walked towards the dining room.



The maids were placing things down onto the table.



I came in and sat down at my usual chair and began to eat. I finished and told the maids to

fill up a canteen with some of my favorite tea for school. As always they did what I had

asked. Once I got my milk tea I headed out of the house with my back pack and my

canteen of rose tea. Once I had left the house I saw my chauffer, Kevin.  Kevin has always

been with me since I was little, so he was the one I was closest to.

“Good morning Kevin!” I said cheerfully.

“Ah, Good morning Seokyu!” Kevin said with a smile.

He opened the door for me to enter the car.

Once I had sat inside he said…

“Oh Seokyu, your mother and father instructed me to give you this.” Kevin said and

handed me a letter sealed and had my name written on the front in cursive.



“oh, okay.” Was all I could say to Kevin.

I would have said more but, it was very rare for my parents to leave any sort of contact

with me ever since they had been working day and night.

Kevin started the car and I decided to start to read the letter.

I opened the letter to find a long paragraph, written by my mother.

Dear Seokyu,
    
     Hello darling, I know me and your father haven’t been contacting you for some time

now. Please do remember that we miss you very much and love you a lot. I have decided

that the Wu’s son Kris will be living with you while, me; your father; and his parents are on

an overseas trip for business. Me and your father have decided this because we felt that you

must be lonely without anyone there for our precious daughter. Therefore, we made an

agreement with the Wus. I expect you to be kind to Kris, he is a very good boy. Also, Kris is

around your age so I hope you two will get along well. He will he living in our guest room,

so please gather his necessities or have the maids do it for him. Lastly, Kris will also be

going to the same school as you. Since he won’t know anyone there, I have arranged his

schedule to have every class with you. Be sure to show him around our neighborhood since

he will be quiet unfamiliar to the new area. He will be moving in after school, and he will be

attending your school today so wait for him after school in Kevin’s car.  Other than these

things, we miss you and love you sweetie. MAKE SURE NOT TO THROW ANY PARTIES WHEN

WE ARE AWAY. Take care of yourself and study hard okay? Mom and dad will be back from

our trip in the middle of next year since where still designing the plans over here. We’re still

not sure on the times, so make sure not to feel so lonely in that huge house. We love you

and hope you have a wonderful day.

I sighed from reading this letter. I was also surprised that my parents and Kris’s parents

didn’t mind letting us live with each other.

I then thought, “Hmmmm… Today is going to be a long day….”
