So here I am, walking home from school. Yeah yeah i know. Tonight is the prom and as usual. I'm going alone.

Ever since my parents' divorce , me and my mom came to live in Seoul, and i hate this new school. Everybody here bully's me and thinks that i'm a nobody. I dont wana live this way. Sometimes i just want to kill myself.

I really don't want to attend this prom, but my Mom's forcing me to go, i know she only does stuff to cheer me up but this does NOT cheer me up. I DONT WANT TO GO!!!!

Oh who's that handsome guy with girls following him, who's walking to the bus? Oh yeah, ofcourse its the school's kingka Lee Donghae. He really makes my heart skip a beat. There's this one moment everyday that he'd look at me and smile, with all the girls cursing me. That is so magical. He evens says ''Hi'' once in a while. I know its just manners, why else would someone look at me?

Okay, so i'm home now ''Mom! I'm home'' i yell out to my mom

''Oh, JangMi ah..!!! come to the living room I  have a surprise for you!'' what? a surprise? this oughtta be good

''Yeah what is it mom?'' i say as i enter the living room, my mom immediately hands me a pink chiffon dress,

''Go try this on!'' My mom says excitedly

''Mom! But Why??'' i protest, its not like i have a date with the cutest guy in school tonight, crap. its not like i EVEN HAVE a date tonight

''Just go and try it on!!!'' my mom orders me so i have to leave. I'm not the type to disobey my parents.

''Huh...Okay mom..'' so i go to my room and try the dress on, its actually very pretty and comfy. The dress not me. I go to the living room to show my dress to my mother.

''Oh, my daughter is so beautiful. Lets go to the beauty salon NOW'' huh, my innocent mother. How to tell her that I'm never going to look good no matter how many makeovers you give me.

So we arrive at the beauty salon. They give me a haircut, facial, manicure, pedicure and then. The thing i was the most afraid of happened. They WAXED my arms and legs

''No umma anything but this!! Please!!'' i beg

''Yes! you have to! you're turning into a woman! and you dont want everone to see all that hair !! Your dress is short!''

The waxing session was really painful and i screamed alot. After all this i wear my dress and they apply light make up on my face, i look something like this:

Its time to go for the prom and Mom drives me there. It feels weird without glasses so i just put them on. No matter how much my mom doesnt like it. I finally enter the hall.

There were girls gathered around me, and as usual, i was feeling very awkward. Yes , didn't ask any of the girls in my school because they are all mean, vulgar people. I'd like to ask a decent girl out to be my date. But unfortunately, there's only one girl at school who's like that. She really makes my heart skip a beat. I dont know why others bully her. I hope that she'll be here tonight. I didn't even had the chance to ask her out, i'm just too shy. I'll just ask her here. I hope she says yes.

Oh i think someone just entered, woah~ who is that? she's really pretty. Wait. i can recognize those glasses anywhere. Its Han JangMi, the girl i was just talking about. Wow, she looks so pretty tonight. 

''Oppa~ what are you looking at?'' girls start questioning me but i just ignore them. She goes to sit at the nearest empty table, alone. I smile at her as we make eye contact.

Oh my God did he just smile at me? Aishh...JangMi, just stay where you are. This'll be over soon. Just stay in one corner if you want to avoid all the mean girls, just look away, look away!!

I walk towards her but all these girls are pulling my arm, aishh, this really makes me angry.

I heard a voice through the song,

''Huh? this wasnt in the lyrics?'' i say out loud and look up to see Lee Donghae standing infront of me, was he just talking to me?

''Oh..i'm..sorry'' He smiles at me again, ''Please?'' he asks, I'm so confused what should i say, i just look at him with surprised look ''But why me? There are so many pretty girls you can ask here...''

Great. Just Great JangMi. Me and my big mouth. He bites his lower lip and smiles at me

''Why are you saying sorry,'' he holds out his hand. ''Please dance with me?'' he asks again. He looks so pretty, his eyes are so charming. Ahh..i cant believe this is happening!!

He is still waiting for me, nobody has ever waited for me for so long

''Come on, i'll show you why..'' i take her hand and bring her to the dance floor. ''And take off these glasses for once''

I take off her thick framed glasses, gosh, they're so heavy!!

''Yah. how do you carry all this weight on your little face...you'll get marks on your nose'' i say gently, i touch her face and she looks down.

I can feel everybody's jealousy right now, everyone is looking at us. But this moment is so perfect, he holds my one hand, i move the other one to his shoulder. He moves his other hand to my waist. I feel butterflies in my tummy.

''You look really beautiful tonight'' i look up into his eyes and see the sincerity in his eyes.

''Oh..thankyou,'' i'm really nervous

''Can i ask you a question?'' he says. Oh my god he's talking to me. I can't believe that I'm dancing with lee donghae

''Excuse me?'' he asks again. I need to stop daydreaming

''Y-Yes'' i say hesitantly

''Why did you say that, when i asked you to dance?''

''Say what?'' i was confused, then i remembered that my big mouth had said that why he hadnt chosen a pretty girl

The song ended and as we let go of each other, which i really dont want to. A blond girl comes between us. ''Oppa, lets dance'' and they started to dance, i felt a pang of disappointment, but good things dont last forever, so i go back to my seat. 

3 minutes have past, i just dont feel like sitting here anymore. 

I go to the bathroom and suddenly a girl comes to me and says

''Yah Han JangMi, you think you look so pretty tonight huh? well lets see how pretty you look now''

She was a senior and she had brought her friends with her to the bathroom

''Sunbae is going to teach you a lesson'' they all gather around me and start pulling my hair, my dress and beating me. I start to go dizzy

''Yah Donghae ah, theres a cat fight in the bathroom'' a friend of mine comes to me and says

''What? who is it?'' The blond girl who's dancing with  me doesnt let go so easily

''Some girls just beat up Han JangMi hoobae'' he said

''Whhat???'' i say and break free of the girls grip. I didnt know what to do, i just ran towards the bathroom

''JangMii, please be okay..'' I say to my self as run towards the bathroom. ''Those bishes will pay for this, They will have to bear the wrath of shisus!!''

I enter the bathroom to see JangMi on the floor, fainted. I see the girl who did this to her. ''You...you will pay for this!!!''

''Well she was crossing her limits oppa!!!''

''What limits?'' i snap at her angrily ''I want you to get out of here before i hit you'' i'm really angry ''NOW''

She leaves the bathroom ''I cant believe you're doing this to me becoz of HER'' I heard her say as i sit on the floor, i pick her up bridal syle and ready to take her to her home.

I go to my car and lay her down on the back seat and i ask my driver to take us to her home. i sit on the back seat, and put her head on my lap. She is so pretty, ''i'll make them pay. I promise'' i say as a move her hair with my fingers off her face. we finally reach her home. I find out that Mrs Han is not there, so i just carry her up to her room and look for first aid, i clean her wounds and sit down next to her. She starts to come back to senses

''Where am i?'' i woke up in my room and started to look here and there, i see donghae sunbae

wait

I SEE DONGHAE SUNBAE IN MY ROOM

''W-what happened?'' i say to my self. I suddenly start to remember everything

''T-Thankyou...sunbae'' i say to him and smile, he gets up from his chair and hands me a glass of water

''Drink this'' he says, i do so without hesistation. With a serious expression on his face. he comes to sit next to me on the bed, really close

''NaRi ssi, do you feel alright now?'' he asks in a worried tone

''Y-Yes thankyou sunbae'' i say with hesitation, before i know it, his lips are on mine, his eyes close and so do mine. He backs away after a short while

I just couldnt help it, i had to kiss her. I backed away from her, i felt embarrased and so did she. i saw her blushing. We smile, i lean forward for another kiss, her lips are so soft. This time, she kisses me back

''I cant believe that Lee Donghae Sunbaenim just stole my first kiss'' i hear her say

''And Han JangMi just stole mine, we're even'' she smiles at me

''Ever since i've seen you, i cant contol my feelings for you. I love you'' i say to her, her expression changed, she was surprised. I smile, even if she doesnt like me back. Atleast she knows how i feel.

I can't believe he just confessed to me

''I-I love you too sunbae'' before waiting for an answer, i move forward for a kiss, the kiss turned passionate

''You make my heart skip a beat'' we said in unison and laughed after that

I hugged him

''Hahaha, sure, lets go downstairs''

I say, and we go downstairs to eat. Maybe living in Seoul now will not be bad afterall
