Park Bom : Incredibly beautiful, but she doesn't know that herself. Bom had many guys fall for her during her high school days, but she rejected every single one of them and only stayed close to Minwoo. She feels indebted to No Minwoo for saving her life and knows how deeply he cares for her, so she accepts his marriage proposal, even though she doesn't love him. 

Choi Seunghyun : A promising med-school student that works part-time as a bartender at a bar owned by his bestfriend, Kwon Jiyong. He has a mysterious past with a woman named Shin Minah, who often visits Jiyong's Bar frequently.

Kwon Jiyong : Obsessive and possessive. In search of a girl who will give him deep and passionate love. However, his attempts to seem romantic and deep only pass him off as another player. He owns a bar named lumières. He thinks of Seunghyun as his own brother.

Shin Minah : A mysterious woman that often visits Jiyong's bar, mostly to see Seunghyun. She often talks about the idea of someone living forever with the person they love.

No Minwoo : A close friend of Park Bom, he's had a crush on her since the first day of high school. He'd do anything for her, even going as far as risking his life to save her's. He knows that she doesn't love him, but he's fine with his one-sided love. As long as he gets to be around her, he doesn't care what the circumstances are.

Jang Hyunseung : Bom's older brother. He knows her better than she knows herself, and is a close friend of Minwoo's.

Lee Chaerin : A singer at lumieres, hoping to one day become a world-famous singer.

Park Sandara : Close friend of Shin Minah. She likes visiting Jiyong's bar with Minah.
