Stories for Moonlit Days and Sunny Nights

Description

It was a somewhat nice day at Chanyeol and Baekhyun's apartment. They had ten of their friends over, four of which were visiting from China. The group of twelve were trying to spend as much time as possible before the four went back. But it was only 11 A.M., and they'd already run out of good things to do. Which was odd, since they'd usually be teasing each other or watching some cheesy drama together at this point. But they were all too tired and bored to tease anyone and the TV had a big hole in it due to their last "get together." The umma of the group, Kyungsoo, suggested that they play imagination, but everyone objected (with Kyungsoo himself being the exception.). Jongin said that playing imagination was for "babies and people with no lives." Kyungsoo threatened not to feed him any dinner that night, so he took it back. Chanyeol frowned at Jongin's remark anyways, since he only disagreed to fit in with the others. Honestly, Chanyeol missed a good game of imagination. No one had any ideas after that, so they just sat in the most awkward silence for around 10 minutes. Everyone could've sworn they heard their brains cry out in pain at least three times. Suddenly, Chanyeol's face lit up. He zoomed to his room while everyone was left wondering what he was doing. He started to dig through some boxes, hoping he could find a board game. Pictionary, Cranium, even Candy Land would work. (Yes. He was that desperate.) Instead, he ran into a book he'd never seen before.

It was rather beat-up, matching its age. It seemed it had to have been around since the 1800's or so, judging by the style and condition of it. You could barely make out twelve people, neatly drawn onto the book's light brown dust jacket with black ink, each closely resembling Chanyeol and the eleven friends that were peeking into his room. Pages were sticking out of the book, some of which had small tears or on the edge of ripping in half by the smallest tug. No author was written on the cover, and the title was in English so he couldn't read it.

Chanyeol let everyone come in and see the book after examining it for a few more minutes.

"Stories for Moonlit Days and Sunny Nights..." Yi Fan muttered. "Well...are we going to read it or not?"
