SM Entertainment to debut new girl group

A representative of SM Entertainment, South Korea's largest talent agency, has released an official statement, confirming the impending debut of a new girl group.
AYISE (pronounced Ah-yise) will debut as a seven-member girl group, with members rumoured to be from Korea, Japan, China and Singapore. AYISE has a similar pronunciation to the direct translation of ice in Korean (아이스). When ice receives warmth, it will melt and turn into water. The meaning of the group's name is deep; implying that the group will be able to be as versatile as water when they receive love and warmth from fans.
This new group will take on a cute and girly yet cool image, both previously shown by seniors under the same company, Girls' Generation and f(x) respectively, further showing the versatile side of theirs.
"We believe that they have the potential to be the next Girls' Generation," Lee Soo Man, the president of SM himself, said.
With members from all around Asia, talent, experience and looks, there are certainly high hopes placed on these future superstars.
