I chuckled lightly and looked at the floor. He had a Fort 17 handgun in the wristband of his pants. Not that he’d have time to use it. Well I like to think I’m faster than some of my kind.

I looked back at his teeth and raised my eyebrow. These were more of a warning than the handgun. In fact the gun didn’t phase me at all. Wouldn’t work no matter how many times you shot it. I matched his grin and his expression faulted.
