Foreword
Never in his life would he imagine he’d be in this situation. Staring wide eyed as his own leader---his own best friend---held a gun to his forehead, his eyes narrowed and filled with nothing but malice.
“H-Hyung”
The response he received was the gun being pushed harshly against his forehead and the threatening posture of the man he trusted tensing.
“Hyung, why are you doing this? Please, it’s me, Woohyun!”
“Don’t call me Hyung”
“Sunggyu Hyung! Please, stop it. You’re starting to scare me. Where are we and why do you have a gun?” Woohyun desperately asked despite seeing Sunggyu’s finger tightening around the trigger.
Woohyun had no idea how he ended up waking up in the middle of a huge road with a dazed Dongwoo and an unconscious Sungyeol. The last thing he remembered was being in the van with the rest of the members on the way to their attendance at the year end Gayo Daejun. Obviously, the prospect of even heading to the Gayo Daejun was impossible now, especially when he realized Sunggyu was staring darkly down at him.
Before he could even react Sunggyu had kicked Woohyun down, making him land painfully on his before pulling a gun from his jacket and pointing it at his head. Thus, here he was; Literally pleading with his Hyung as if his life depended on it.
“W-Woohyun” whipping his gaze away from Sunggyu at the sound of Dongwoo’s trembling voice, Woohyun was shocked to see Hoya grabbing onto Dongwoo, twisting his arm painfully behind his back, preventing Dongwoo from reaching a coming-to Sungyeol.
“Hoya! What are you doing? Let Dongwoo Hyung go!” Instead of doing so, Hoya yanked Dongwoo’s arm even further and Woohyun earned another kick, this time directed toward his stomach. Groaning, he locked eyes with Sunggyu whose eyes lacked any of its usual compassion.
“Woohyun, it’s Sungyeol” Dongwoo struggled to speak as Hoya’s grip on his arm got tighter, “There’s something wrong with him!”
“What?” Woohyun snapped his head toward Sungyeol who looked like he was hyper-ventilating. His hand was grasping his chest as he struggled to take gulps of air. Sweat poured from his body causing his shirt to stick to his back and hair to lay damp on his head. Woohyun’s concern grew at the visible pain developing on Sungyeol’s pale and blue face.
Before Woohyun could even make an attempt to run toward Sungyeol, the barrel of a gun was once again dug onto the back of his skull.
“You’re not going anywhere.” Sunggyu’s voice was cold and rough, completely different from the tone Woohyun was used too. The Sunggyu he knew would never watch as a member of his was suffering. Contrary to that belief, this Sunggyu barely even spared a glance toward Sungyeol who now was beginning to cough violently.
“H-Hyung..it hurts...” Sungyeol whimpered between his coughs.
“Hyung...Sunggyu Hyung please. Sungyeol must be hurt or something. Let me go to him!”
Sunggyu shook his head as he dug the gun deeper into his skull. “Not until we get our answers kiddo”, was the last thing Woohyun heard before he felt a sharp pain across the back of head, ultimately succumbing to darkness.
