You with the sad eyes.

Until the day my breath leaves my lungs, I run for you.

I walked into the slightly lit space. With the dimmed, warm colour hugging the ceiling, I could
barely see what was in the room, but I would know.

A few steps away, a shape of a ball was curling on top of the bed.

I placed my bag on the nearby desk before my foot made their way closer to the familiar figure.

The utterly familiar figure.

I patted the blanket enveloping the unmoving man.

“...Mir?”

Nothing but a slight body movement.

I sat down on the side of the bed.

“Come over here, won't you?”

He finally uncurled his body and unhurriedly sat up, embracing his bent knees. The hair was
messy, a gesture of frustration. His sad puppy face were longing at me, as if he was trying to tell
me everything without saying anything.

The tears in his eyes were so visible it hurts.

I tugged at his t-shirt. He shifted and leaned his body toward me, forehead sinking down on my
right shoulder.

I put my arms around his head. He sniffed in response and brushed his head against my neck. I
hugged him tighter, hoping it will numb the paining knot in his heart.

“I'm tired.”

“..I know.”

He pulled his body away, breaking my arm link to stare hard at me.

“It's always like this. I've tried my best but this is always how it ends up. I've had enough.”

His furious tone translated to nothing but sadness.

“I can't please everyone. Why do they have to pressure me?”

I don't know.

“Why do they do that? I don't understand why would someone be happy after making someone's
life miserable, and-”

I don't understand either.

“-you know how hard I've been bearing with this, don't you? The things I had to give up for
someone else's happiness?”

..Believe me, if I could tell you to stop, I would.

“Including you.”

A tear trickled down my cheek.

He scrunched his face and bit his lip. I brushed the single tear off my face.

He pulled me forward. I buried my head against his chest while he grabbed the end of my shirt
and made a fistful. He was trembling.

“The last thing I would want to happen is losing you.”

I didn't reply.

“Please... Don't ever go.”

He tightened his hug. I looked up at him, his face hovering right above mine.

I traced the lines on his face with my eyes. The jaw that I love. The lips that I savour. The nose
that I kiss. The eyes that are mine.

I scrunched my eyebrows to prevent the tears from falling down.

He drew a sad smile and closed his eyes.
