Prologue (more like introduction to their backgrounds):

Author's POV

"I'm sorry. Don't quit school, my dear. Please." Her mother smiled as she reached for her daughter's smooth face. She looked just like her father.

"If...if only Dad would come back..." Ji Eun said, trying to control the tears that were forming in her eyes.

"He's happy, Ji Eun. Don't worry. We'll be happy,too...soon..." Her mother smiled again. 

Ji Eun couldn't forget the pain that her father left with them. It was just...too painful to bear.

Ji Eun's father had divorced with her mother. Her mother had leukemia, so she wasn't going to last much longer. Ji Eun's father took all of his riches with him, and left the mother and daughter with nothing but a thousand won.

Ji Eun's oppa had gone missing two years ago. No idea where he went. No idea when's he's coming back.

Ji Eun wiped the tears from her eyes.

From that day on, she was a monster.

She craved for money.

She desired for it.

She was obsessed with it.

"I'm going to get you healed, Mom." Ji Eun whispered to her mom and kissed her cheek. Her mother was sleeping soundly.

"Jung Ji Eun! Would you be my girlfriend?"

A young man kneels in front of the ever-famous Jung Ji Eun as he sings a ridiculous lullaby.

She smiles at him, but shakes her head.

"Sorry. I'm not open for a relationship right now."

She simply says as she walks off to her classroom.

Lots of students were looking at her. Admiring her, actually.

Jung Ji Eun was good at everything. And, she was beautiful.

She had lots of friends. Well, stalkers/admirers, that is.

She was the perfect woman.

She sits on her seat and reviews her notes from Compositions class.

She secretly opens a piece of paper that was inside her pocket.

Wanted: Dancer. Salary per month: 10 million won.

He smirked as he saw the blood gushing out of his enemy's nose.

"You! You're going to pay for this!"

His smirk got wider even more.

"You think?" He kicked him some more.

"S-stop, you foolish brat!"

He stepped forward. "Me? Foolish? What you did was more foolish than what I'm doing. Why did you have to beat my friend?"

The guy on the floor, charmed by this young man who punched him in the gut, looked up to him in awe. "You didn't have permission."

He lifted him up with his bare hands. "Promise me one thing: You won't ever scold us or send us away when we do this thing. Understand?"

The guy simply nodded in surprise. "What's your name? I need to take note so that I won't send you out next time."

He smiled slyly as he dropped him to the ground. "Taemin. Lee Taemin."
