Night was falling and the city was slowing down to a quiet hush. Two people stood on the roof of a building with questions that still needed answers.

“I thought you liked older woman?”

“I guess you’re an exception”

“What about Yuri.”

“What about Yuri?”

She scoffed “don’t pretend you don’t know, she’s been crushing on you since Gee.”

“Yeah? And do I like her?” Minho questioned

“You tell me.” Krystal replied, not skipping a beat.

“I’m with you right now aren’t I?”

“Don’t you think it’s a little to late Minho?” She sighed, “We broke up two years ago.”

“I’m willing to give a try if you are.”

She sighed, “And why would I do that?”

“You can’t tell me you don’t like me anymore…”

“And if I do?” She said, her eyes never leaving the city.

“Come on, after our break up, the slate isn’t exactly clean.” He finally looked up at her. The last rays of sunshine made her hair look brown, as appose to her usual jet black hair. “We left our emotions out on the table. And we still haven’t picked up all the cards.”

She pretended to puke. “Bleh! Corny!”

“Well, I like to hope that the ice princess will let a little flame into her life.”

“You’re an idiot.” The corners of were twitching.

He smiled “I prefer dazed.”

His phone vibrated against his thigh. “Hey Jinki.”

“Don’t ‘Hey Jinki me’!” he sounded more frustrated than angry. “Where are you? Yuri’s gonna blow her top. You’re supposed to be practising the dance break with her!”

“I’m with Krystal”

“Krystal? You ran off with Krystal? I thought you liked Yuri!?”

“When did I say that?”

“Oh, ah well, you… you are the ‘Noona Killer’?”

Minho looked back at Krystal, who still refused to look at him. It was obvious on the quiet roof, that she could hear everything.

The sun was setting now. It was a brilliant orange.

And there was a slight breeze, but only enough to make her hair dance

“She’s an exception.”
