Eli's POV

The cashier kept flirting with me. I rolled my eyes in disgust. Argh.. when will this end? 

"Oh, may I also have your number?" She winked at me.

"If I give you my number, will you let me pay for my friend's shirt and leave?" I said in annoyance.

"Of course!" 

"Fine."

I jotted down my number on a piece of paper.

"Here. Can I go now?"

"Okay! Your total is $147.00."

Ugh.

"Thanks for coming! I'll call you tonight! REMEMBER!!" The cashier screamed to me.

Kevin's POV

What? Did the cashier said she will call Eli? Did Eli give her his phone number? WHAT? NO. THAT GIRL.. UGH.

"Okay, I paid for it, Kev. Lets go home!" Eli smiled at me.

"Thanks so much for the shirt, Eli. But I'm going to pay you back. This shirt cost a lot of money!" I replied.

"No. You don't have to! It's a gift from me to you!~"

"But--"

"No but's, Kev."

"Fine..." I gave up.

As we were walking to our car (Which, by the way, was parked quite far from the mall T ^ T), I built up the nerve to ask Eli about the cashier that was hitting on him.

"Uhm, Eli..."

"Hm?"

"What was that cashier saying to you...?"

"Oh my gosh. That cashier was so annoying! She wouldn't let me leave until I gave her my phone number. Ugh." Eli replied, disgusted.

So that explains why she said she'd call him... Wait.. Why did I even care in the first place?!

"Why'd you ask?" 

"Oh, nothing ^.^" I lied.

"I was just curious."

"Oh, okay. Ah! There's our car."

*Home*

"Okay, so where did we stop... Oh yeah! Number 14."

"AISSHH. I don't wanna study, Kevin!" >.< Whined Eli.

"Well, you have to! Your going to fail if you don't study! Com'on!"

"Fine, fine..."

"Yay. Alright, so, The Korean Wa--"

*Eli's phone rings*

"Yoboseyo?"

Eli covered the mic with his hand.

"Ugh. It's the cashier from the store.." Eli rolled his eyes.

Eli kept talking and talking to her. He even began laughing along with her! I suddenly felt this anger in me..

Hmph...

Eli locked his phone and slid it back into his pockets.

"Kevin, I'm gonna have to cancel today's studying. I'm meeting up with Trinh. That's her name. Pretty cool name, right? She's quite fun to talk to as well!"

What..? He's leaving already?

"I'll be back at 6, maybe?"

"Uhm.. I guess I could wait, then." My heart shattered into a million pieces on the inside. I don't know why, but that's just how I felt..

"Cool, see you later, Kev!~"

Eli ran downstairs. I heard as the door creaked open, then slammed shut.

I began to tear up.. I couldn't help it. I guess the feeling in side me was all just... Jealously.

*Six O' Clock*

Eli's POV

"Hey, Kev! I'm back! Right on time too!~" I screamed from downstairs.

*No reply*

"Kev?! KEVINN!?" I yelled once more.

I quickly ran upstairs to see if something was wrong.

I opened the door to see a crying, puff-eyed Kevin.

"Kev! What happened? Are you okay?! What's wrong?" I was super worried.

"E-eli.. D-d-do you like that Trinh girl...?" Kevin asked, in between sniffs.

"Well, yeah, but only as a friend." I replied.

Suddenly, Kevin wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I'm so glad you said that..."

"W-why?" I was confused.

"I was scared that you liked her.. more that a friend.."

"The truth is.. I have feelings for you..."

I was suprised with what just came out of Kevin's mouth. Was I dreaming..?

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"I like, no, love you, Eli..." said Kevin.

I didn't know what else to say, but just hug him back.

" I love you too, Kevin..♥" 

Sometimes, JEALOUSY leads to something happy in the end.. (:
