“Changjo!!” Ricky tapped his bestfriend’s shoulder, he jerk up “Huh?”

“I see… Still admiring her from afar huh?” he smirked, Changjo’s face blushed

“Aniyo…” he tried to hide his blushing face and look at you again

You were laughing over your friends joke, suddenly your eyes meet with his

You blinked for a second and then smiled

His face went red in an instant and he quickly turned away

“Man, your face looks like tomato… Is it because her?” Minsoo look at her over his shoulder

“If you like her, confess to her…” Niel said while reading a book

“That’s impossible,” he sighed and ruffled his hair

“It’s possible if you at least try to greet her,” Ricky chuckled, “Oh sorry, I forgot you always goes freeze every time she gets near,” Changjo throws the paper bag to him

His friends knew that he had a major crush on you since the first day of high school

The problem is, he was TOO shy to talk to you and even greet you

You’re a happy-go-lucky type of girl who like to befriended everyone while Changjo is a shy type boy and doesn’t like to be the center of attention

After the lunch time is over, Changjo went back to the classroom

He sat on the back of the class with Niel and Ricky

Not long after, you came in with your friends –Hanin and Seolrae- and sat infront of the boys

Fifteen minutes into the teacher’s lecture, you feel asleep on the table with your head leaning to the wall

Changjo smiled softly while observing your adorable sleeping face

Suddenly the teacher walks to the back of the class, Hanin quickly nudge you to wake you up

“Huh?” you woke up and the teacher looks into your direction

“Ah Jang ~~~~~-sshi! What’s the answer for the problem number 8?”

You look at Hanin and Seolrae confused, they shrugged as they don’t know the answer either

“Well?” the teacher wait for your answer, you can feel she’s ready to give you a detention if you didn’t answer her question

“It’s √46…” Changjo whispered to you

“What?” you look back

“√46…” he repeats it

“The answer is √46,” you answered confidently

The teacher looks at you suspiciously but then shrugged, “Right answer,”

You sighed in relief, Hanin poked your shoulder and whispered

“Don’t forget to thank him,”

After class, Changjo immediately went to his locker and put all his books

“Changjo-sshi…” he turned around and stunned to see you standing in front of his locker

“Uhh, yeah?” he rubbed the back of his neck nervously

“I just want to say thank you for saving me earlier in the math class,” you smiled

“It’s okay,” he laughed shyly

“~~~~~ aaah!! Ppali ppali!!” Seolrae and Hanin shouted across the hallway, ruining your moment with him

“Okay okay!! Well, once again thanks Changjo!!” you waved and ran into your friends

“Duruwap dubap dubap~” Ricky sang while poking Changjo’s cheek

“Yah!! Don’t poke my cheeks!! Just do it to Minsoo hyung instead,” he pouted

“No, your cheek is softer to poke than Minsoo hyung’s,” Ricky smiled innocently

“So how is it going between you and your dream girl?” Minsoo asked, Changjo’s face went blushing

“W-what do you mean hyung?”
“Oh come on~ I saw her talking to you earlier and Niel told me about the math class incident,” he grinned

Changjo glared at Niel, who calmly shrugged and smiled innocently

Minsoo smiled and tapped his shoulder, “That’s a great start,”

The next day, Changjo rushed to the Home Economics class panickly while munched on his sandwich

*Tsk, how dare Niel and Ricky didn’t wake me up or even call me?!*

He opened the door and bowed to the teacher while saying sorry for being late

All seats have been taken, to his shock, Niel sat with HanIn while Ricky sat beside Seolrae

But his face blushed a bit when he saw you waved to him and pointed the empty seat beside you

“Changjo-sshi!! Sit here!!” you smiled, he sat down and took out his books

“So, since Choi Jonghyun just joined us… I want to remind again that your seat partner will be your Home Economics partner for this semester,” the teacher said

His eyes widened *~~~~~ as my partner for this semester?!*

“What’s wrong?” you tilted your head, “Are you feeling sick or something?”

“Ah aniyo…”

“Now for next week’s assignment, you and your partner will make a three course dinner… It can be western or asian cuisine,” the teacher said

“So, what are we going to cook?” you asked while flipping the recipe book

Changjo just sat across you, “I have no idea,”

“Hmmmmm…” you think, “How about we’re hang out in my house today to decide what dishes should we cook for next week assignment?”

“Your house?” his eyes widened, you nodded

“Wae?” he shook his head, “Aniyo, it’s okay…”

“I’ll wait for you in front of the gate after school,” you smiled

The bell was ringing and quickly the hallway was flooded with students

Changjo hurriedly went to the school gate, but you weren’t there

*I’m late!!! Eottoke?!* just then, “Changjo-sshi!!!!” you ran to him with lots of heavy book on your hand

“Sorry I’m late, Dongwoo Oppa asked me to bring home his book aish~” you huffed, he smiled to you and grab all the books from your hand “Let me bring it instead, girls shouldn’t handle heavy stuff,”

“Thank you~” you smiled in relief and you two start walking to your house

Finally you two reach your house, you dug through your skirt pocket and took out the key

“Where’s your parents? And Dongwoo hyung?” he asked and putted the books on the table

“Mom and Dad are visiting my Grandma’s house in States while Dongwoo oppa…. Well, hang out with his friends,” you chuckled

“Sooooo~ what are we going to cook for the assignment?” you smiled, he nodded and you headed to the kitchen

You two decided to try Beef Lasagna with a Spaghetti Mushroom sauce and a strawberry trifle for the dessert

You chuckled at him when he tried to cut the lasagna, he’s not a great cook, so it’s amusing for you to see him tried his best on cooking the lasagna

“Aaah, you have the white sauce on your face,” you laughed softly, he wiped his cheeks with the back of his hands but the sauce is still there

“It’s right here~” you motioned his hands to be higher, he wiped it again but no use

Instantly, you wiped the sauce off with your fingers

He froze the second your fingers touch his cheeks, he fell silent and stared at you while you keep mumbling about the sauce

And then you realized he didn’t listened to you all the time and instead was staring at you

It was like those moments on a romantic film where the boy and the girl stared at each other with a slow background song, your hands were still at his cheek and he touch your hands

“What are you guys doing here?” Dongwoo said in amazement and of course, ruined the moment

He quickly backed away and his face were blushing like mad, “I think it’s time for me to go home, my Mom must be worried,” he said quickly, “Well, see you tomorrow at school!!!” he rushed quickly and gave a slight bow to Dongwoo

You chuckled seeing his action and then clear up the kitchen, Dongwoo sat on a stool and ate the lasagna, “Wow, you did a great job with that,” he said and tucked in

You look at your brother’s face, he’s always a messy eater and now his lips was covered with the sauce, “Oppa, you had sauce on your…” suddenly you remembered what happen earlier and blushed

You two grew close since his visit to your house, but you still can feel that he’s keep a certain distance and still shy around you

You were chatted with him –well, you’re the one who talk while he was listening to you- when the teacher came in with a pink haired boy

“Guys, you have a new friend, this is Lee Byunghun,”

“Annyeonghasseo… My name is Lee Byunghun, I’m from California and you can call me L.Joe…” he bowed and smiled

The girls were whispering how cute and handsome he was, HanIn nudge your side and look at you “He’s so handsome~ wonder if he already have a girlfriend…”

The new boy look at your direction and smirked, “I want to sit beside that girl,” he said to the teacher while pointing at you

All of the girls gasped, “Lucky you,” Hanin chuckled

The teacher nodded, “Yes, ~~~~~ please help Byunghun if he have some problem,”

“Neee…”

“So, you’re ~~~~… It’s a pleasure to know you,” L.Joe said, you just nodded

During the lessons, he always talk to you and want to know you more

The girls were envious because obviously you stole the new boy’s attention, L.Joe always offered to ride you home and pick you up in the morning but you refused

Changjo looked at you from the football court, you’re walking with SeolRae when L.Joe came with his motorcycle

He saw you shook your head and L.Joe’s face look disappointed, but then L.Joe smiled and put on his helmet

“You must be jealous of him,” Niel said and kicking the ball into his direction

Changjo just shrugged and kicked it back, “Maybe she likes him… after all, girls like bad boys,”

“Naaah, that’s a stupid thought… I think ~~~~~ isn’t like that,” Niel grab the ball and patted his shoulder

=School’s café=

“Changjo aah!!” he turned around and saw you walked into his direction, he raised his eyebrows, “Hey…” he smiled shyly, you grabbed a tray and stood in to the line behind him

The trays already filled with food and Changjo looked around to find an empty table, after he found one, you two sat face to face and start eating

“You know, it feels like it’s been a loooong time since the last time I talked to you,” you said while munching on your curry rice

“Uh huh…” he just nodded and slurped on his chicken noodle *Because L.Joe always sticking by your side~* he thought

All of sudden someone tapped your shoulder, you look up to see L.Joe

“I want to ask something important to you…” he shoots a look at Changjo but then rubbed his neck nervously

“What is it?” you look at him strangely, still chewing at your curry rice

“Can we go to somewhere private?” he asked

“Can you just say it here? Why we have to go to somewhere private?” you asked back

He sighed and climbed up the table, “What the hell are you doing?” you was puzzled more by his action

“Do you want to be my girlfriend?” he said, your eyes widened and you stopped chewing

“What…do…you…say?” you asked unsurely, he smirked “Do I have to shout it aloud for you to hear? DO YOU WANT TO BE MY GIRLFRIEND??” he shouted loudly

Everyone’s head now turned to you and L.Joe, few girls squealed in envy

“Oh L.Joe come down!! This is embarrassing” you hissed, your face blushed lightly because the attention

“I won’t come down until you answer my question,” he smirked and put his hand on the pocket, clearly waiting for your answer

“L.Joe!!!!”

“I’m waiting~” he tapped his foot, you got up and pulled him down

“Let’s just get out from here…” you muttered and drag him out from the Café

Changjo’s shoulder slumped, he stared at you walk out from the School’s Café with L.Joe

*She’ll accept him, I’m sure of that* he sighed and threw his lunch away

=next day=

Changjo sighed and rested his arms on the railings and look down to the field

He skipped almost all of his class today because he feels that he can’t stand seeing you with L.Joe

“Changjo aaah~” a soft voice called, he turned around to see you stood on the rooftop door, crossing your arms and look at him with a pout on your face

“What are you doing here?” he asked, you narrowed your eyes

“I’ve must be the one who ask that question to you, why are you skipping all classes today?”

“It’s none of your business…” he said

“None of my business?! Seriously, what’s wrong with you?!” you touched his arms, he shrugged, you were taken aback with his attitude and snapped off

“Okay then of you don’t want to answer my question,” you walked to the rooftop door

Changjo look back panicly *Oh no, what did I do?!*

“Wait!! Don’t go!!” he grabbed your shoulder and make you face him

“What? You said it’s none of my business, so I go…” you said

“Well, the reason is… ummmm…” he rubbed his neck nervously, you raised your eyebrows

“It’s because… I can’t stand seeing you and L.Joe… together…” he said

Your eyes widened, “Because of that?!” he shyly nodded

“Yeah… I know that he’s your boyfriend now so it must be feels uncomfortable for you to…” he blabbing uncontrollably and then covered his face, “Argh why I’m like this!!”

“Boyfriend? Ohmy Changjo!!! You’re wrong!! I didn’t accept L.Joe!! I like someone else…” you laughed

He looked at you, “But I thought you like him…” you shook your head

“No way~”

He sighed in relief, you laughed softly and then stepped closer to him

“Because I like you…” you said, his eyes widened “You what?”

“I. Like. You” you emphasis every word and stared at him

His mouth went agape, “You like me?” he pointed himself in disbelief

You nodded, “Okay, let’s do this the right way…” he cleared his throat and took your hand

“Jang ~~~~~, jongmal saranghaeyo,” he said, his face was blushing and you can see that he’s really nervous and can’t believe what you said earlier

“Nado saranghaeyo nae Shy Boy,” you pecked his cheeks
