Sungmin was waiting on a bench in the middle of a very busy mall. He was waiting for his boyfriend. Who else could it be other than Kyuhyun? Despite the younger man always getting on Sungmin's nerves, he always managed to smile around him. He wouldn't be able to fathom life without Kyuhyun. With his late-nigh Starcraft sessions and his hourly pranks on the man. Sungmin found himsel smiling at the thought of his boyfriend. 

"Excuse me, mister," a small voice suddenly rang out. Sungmin was brought back to reality. The noises of a busy mall suddenly filled his ears. In front of the man was an adorable young girl. She wore a yellow sundress with a white cardigan. Her long, wavy black hair was kept in two high ponytails. The ties had small, plastic sunflowers on them. Her face was chubby but that was because of her baby-fat cheeks. She had a small mouth. When she smiled meekly, Sungmin could see her two front teeth missing. Her flip flops were bright and sparkly. "Mister, do you have 500 won I could use to ride the merry-go-round?" 

Of course, he wanted to give her the money. If she had asked him to strip and dance 'Gangnam Style' in his underwear, he would gladly say yes. Nonetheless, there were precautionary measure the man had to face. "Little girl, where is your mother? Shouldn't she be the one giving you money? I'm sure she'd love to see the smile on your face when you ride the merry-go-round," he said then smiled softly. It was a nurturing smile, one would give to a son or a daughter. Sungmin was naturally warmhearted like that. 

The young girl giggled, covering with her hands as she did so. Her eyes turned into adorable crescents and two assymmetrical dimples appeared on her cheeks. She pointed to a woman standing beside the motorized children's ride. She was considerably older than Sungmin. The woman had probably decided to have kids later on in life. "She doesn't have 500 won. She only has a card. She told me to ask the nicest-looking person while she watched at the ride. So, please, mister?" she asked. She cupped her small hands together and held them out in front of her. She pouted ever so slightly, widening her eyes. 

'Aigoo, this girl could give me a run for my money with that cuteness,' he thought as he dug in his pocket. He took out his simple black leather wallet. He grabbed a 500 won coin then gave it to the small girl. She smiled and jumped in joy. 

"Thank you so much, mister!" she exclaimed. She bowed a whole 90 degrees. Then, she ran back to her mother. It was easy to tell that she was ecstatic to ride the merry-go-round.  

However, Sungmin couldn't help but wonder why that woman let her daughter go to a complete stranger and ask for money. That's quite dangerous, isn't it? What if the person the girl asked was someone dangerous? Someone that liked to... take advantage of pure souls such as her? Sungmin couldn't wrap his head around it. Still, the exchange managed to pull a few heartstrings. 

A few moments later, Kyuhyun arrived. He looked completely casual. The two were supposed to be on a date. Sungmin even made an effort to look clean and prestine. But he knew why Kyuhyun dressed the way he did. Normal couples were looked down upon if they showed public displays of affection. Especially in Seoul. Imagine if a gay couple were to do the same thing. They'd be disowned by complete strangers. That would make anyone feel bad about a relationship. Kyuhyun had a method behind his impassiveness. 

"Kyu, I got a question to ask." 

"Hmm? What is it, Sungmin?"

"I want a child. Would it be possible for us to adopt one?"
