Ahn Sohee:

“Unni, why didn’t you tell that you were coming today? I would have come to pick you up.” I said bluntly looking at her accusingly.

“Then it wouldn’t have been a surprise. Aren’t you happy I’m back?” she said, pouting.

“Even so. It’s not fair, I would have been more prepared and maybe arranged a party too.” I said pouting.

“Arrasso, I’ll let you host a party but today we have another one to attend right?” she said looking at my parents, who nodded to her in reply.

“Anyways we have to start preparing. I booked an appointment in the salon, its time lets go.” Mom said getting up and telling us to follow.

We made our way to the salon and did our hair and make-up. After finishing we made our way back home. The whole way my mom and sister were chatting away about the Kims and about the party. I was not really in the mood. I just wanted it to be over and come back and rest. I wonder how the girls are doing. They must be enjoying a lot, compared to me right now.

“Yah! What’s with you? Why are you so quiet?” Unni asked.

“Nothing, I’m just tired.” I replied.

“Ah, it’s okay, itll be all over soon.” She said, patting my head.

Soon we reached home. We went to our respective rooms to dress but before I could enter my room my mom pulled me towards their room.

“You are coming with me. I already bought the dress for you.” My mom said.

“Mom, I can wear one of the dress which I have already.” I said, cause I know for sure that the new dress is going to be really fancy. I’m not use to dressing up too much but mom seems to always like it a lot. I couldn’t do anything else so I just followed her.

After I was forced to wear the dress that mom bought, I went and wore my shoes and took my purse along with my essentials. After I was done I went down and joined my dad and brother. My mom and sister seems to be taking long. We were simply making conversations till they came down.

After they came we went out to the car and got in. we were in a limousine so we all fitted. We made our way to the party. I was sitting in between my sister and brother. Oppa was fidgeting so much.

“Oppa! Sit properly.” I huffed.

“Mianhe, I’m just being restless.” He replied and sat down properly after that.

The whole ride was quiet, we all were lost in our own thoughts. When we reached there, I saw that it was filled with reporters and the cameras were flashing continuously. I was nervous as it is, this made me more nervous.

“Okay, why is it filled with paparazzi?” I asked nervously.

“It is a big event and they are pretty famous, you should know that already.” Mom said fixing her dress.

“But I thought it was just a small gathering.” I said when our car moved forward.

“It’s okay, don’t worry just hold my arm and I’ll guide you through. You should be used to it by now. Our family is not far behind.” Oppa said looking at me with an encouraging smile.

“Yeah, we have been in the limelight since we were kids.” Unni added, giving me a side hug and kissing my head.

“But I never participated in it. I always got to escape.” I said looking at my hand on my lap.

“Don’t worry too much. It’ll all be over in a flash.” Oppa said.

Then it was our turn to get down. First mom and dad got down followed by unni. Then it was my turn but Oppa went in front and got down. He bent down and helped in getting out of the car. He took my hand and wrapped it in his arm then Unni took my other hand. I felt a little secure and calmed down. Unni squeezed my hand in reassurance.

The cameras flashed non-stop and they all were throwing random questions
