“You okay?” He murmurs, inhaling the sweet scent coming from her hair. Strawberry…his favorite.
“Hmm…just thinking of some thoughts.” She replied, shifting her body to place the mug on the table in front of them. She then faces him, blissfulness evident on her radiant face. He smiles, seeing her like that in front of him. By now, he has understood what she has been thinking. For he too, has been occupied with that same thought.
“Don’t you find it weird? That after all those things that happened, we ended up like this?” He blurts out, one finger tracing the contours of her face.
“I don’t know. But, I’m glad you came that day.”
