Author's POV:

Ji Kyo froze and looked at Jessica. She is right, Donghae has a fiancé but she can't help thinking that he is here

Jessica: yah, are you okay? come on get back here

Ji Kyo: i-i don't care, i know that he has a fiancé but our friendship didn't changed

Jessica: well, that's true. So when can I meet this Donghae oppa?

Ji Kyo: yah, you already met him!

Jessica: huh? are you joking now?

Ji Kyo: no, you saw him a while ago!

Jessica: huh? don't you dare say that it is-- or is he?

Ji Kyo: yeah! he's Aiden Lee!

Jessica: omo, so you're saying that professor of ours is him?!

Ji Kyo nodded happily and lied on the grass while smiling. Jessica was like talking by herself and was cut off when someone called Ji Kyo

Jessica: yah, who is it?

Ji Kyo: i don't know, it's unknown

Jessica: answer it, maybe its something important

Ji Kyo nodded and answered the phone. Jessica was looking at her, she wants to know who was calling her friend

Ji Kyo: Hello?

^Guy: hello, Ji Kyo-yah

Ji Kyo: yes? who is this?

^Guy: yah, did you already forgot my voice? It just been a month

Ji Kyo: oh? Donghae oppa? oppa!

^Donghae: *laughs* are you free this afternoon? want to grab some drink?

Ji Kyo: yup, I'm free! and sure! where do you want to have a drink?

^Donghae: what about at Starbucks?

Ji Kyo: oh, okay.. I'll bring Sica

^Donghae: Sica? Okay... so, see you?

Ji Kyo: yeah, what time?

^Donghae: what about now?

Ji Kyo: that's okay for me, but maybe you have a class

^Danghae: no, I don't have. So, meet you there?

Ji Kyo: okay! bye , see you! *hung-up* Sica-yah

Jessica: yes? who was that?

Ji Kyo: oh, that was Donghae oppa. He wants us to meet at Starbucks

Jessica: okay, let's go!

The two of them walked outside of the campus and went to Starbucks. When they arrived, there were only a few people inside and few people ordering. They sat on the chair near the window and waited for Donghae, he arrived  minutes 5 later. He browsed the whole cafe until he saw Ji Kyo and Sica sitting ner the window, he went to them and greeted them

Donghae: Ji Kyo-yah, annyeong!

JI Kyo: oh annyeong oppa!

Jessica: annyeonghaseyo, Mr. Lee

Donghae: annyeong! no need to call me Mr. Lee, we are not in the school grounds anyway

Jessica: ah, okay...

They sat on the chair again and Donghae rose up again. He went to the counter to buy drinks. He went back after a while, he was holding  cups and placed it on the table and he sat back again. The three of them were silent and the atmosphere feels awkward

Jessica: uh, so~ Ji Kyo, I got to go

Ji Kyo: h-huh? why?

Jessica: I forgot that I have something else to do. Mr. Lee, I have to go

Donghae nodded and bowed his head slightly. after a while, Ji Kyo and Donghae were left. Donghae stared at her and Ji Kyo was staring at her Caramel Frapp. There was still this awkward atmosphere between them and Donghae decided to clear it and replace it with something comfortable.

Donghae: It's been a month since we last saw each other

Ji Kyo: yeah and I still can't forget my oh so embarassing confession in the airport

Donghae: I felt bad when you left

Ji Kyo why oppa? you should not feel bad. That was my decision

Donghae: well, you didn't let me reply before you left.

Ji Kyo: oh, is that it oppa? Don't worry oppa, you don't have to worry about it

Donghae: but still, I want to take this time, I want you to know my answer

Ji Kyo: o-okay [sips her Caramel Frapp]

Donghae: I may sound cheesy but I want you to know this even if its all too late

Ji Kyo nodded and sipped her Frapp. Donghae stared at her, he drank his coffee and cleared his throat

Donghae: I should have said this to you a long time ago. Ji Kyo, I Love you too but it won't change anything now right? I heard that you are going to be engaged?

Ji Kyo: y-yeah and oppa said he knows him well

He smiled bitterly and sipped his coffee, there was that awkward silence again. It lasted for a minute and was cut when Ji Kyo's phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and it was her mom

Ji Kyo: oppa, I've got to answer this. It's my mom

He nodded and smied. She went out of the cafe and answered the call. She came back after a while, she grabbed her back after she sat back to her seat

Donghae: are you going somewhere?

Ji Kyo: oh yes oppa, but I have to go back to the uni to get my stuffs

Donghae: let's go together, I have to get my stuffs there also

She nodded and the two of them went back to the campus. While walking, DOnghae's phone rang and he looked at Ji Kyo, she nodded and he answered the phone. Ji Kyo stopped for a while and stared at Donghae, she was admiring his features, admiring everything that made her fall inlove with him, for the last time. After a while, Donghae went to her and that snapped Ji Kyo from her thoughts and smiled.

Ji Kyo: kaja oppa? Wa~ah, I miss the old times

Donghae nodded and ruffled her hair, he recieved a glare from Ji Kyo in return. The two of them laughed while walking back to the Uni. They arrived at the Uni after a while and went to their own ways; Ji Kyo went to her locker and grabbed her things, while Donghae went to the staff's room and grabbed his belongings. They went back to their homes and they were welcomed by their own mothers

Donghae's Mom: Donghae-yah, you're back. 

Donghae: annyeong eomma! [hugs his mom]

Donghae's Mom: you're in the mood today dear, did something happen?

He nodded and told his mom everything that had happened to him. His mother just smiled at him and nodded all the way to the end, after telling everything he excused himself and went to his room. He took a bath to refreshen hisself and dressed up casually. He went to his mother in the kitchen and bid her good bye

Donghae's mom: where are you going dear? remember that we have to meet your fiance and her family

Donghae: eomma, I know that. I have to go somewhere

Donghae's mom: okay, but don't run away okay?

Donghae: of course eomm, I have a great feeling today and I'm not gonna run away. I'll just tell her family that I don't want to marry her if I don't like her

His mom nodded and waved at him. He went out of the house and went to the downtown and entered a jewelry shop, he browsed the whole shop until he saw something that caught his eyes. He asked the staff to get the ring for him without looking away from it. The staff placed the ring on the glass and he clearly saw the ring's structure; it was a crown shaped ring 

He bought it and went back to his house. When he arrived, he saw his mother, already dressed for the dinner and just waiting for him to get ready. She turned around and saw Donghae who smiled at her. He went to his room and saw the clothes that he is going to wear, he wore the clothes and looked at the mirror

After his final check on his image in the mirror he went down stairs and went to his mom. His mom gasped as he saw her son all so handsome tonight, she reached for her son and caressed his cheeks

Donghae's Mom: aigoo~ my son is now a grown up. Now, lets go we don't want to be late

The two of them went to their car and drove to the restaurant where they are going to meet. They arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before the meeting time; they sat on their reserved table and waited for Donghae's fiance to come. While waiting, Donghae was calming himself and he kept on rubbing his damp hands on his handkerchief

Donghae: eomma, do I look okay?

Donghae's mom: not just okay, you're really handsome. Oh there they are

Donghae's mom stood up and Donghae followed his mom. His fiance's family are now infront of them and he raised his head to greet them when he saw familiar faces smiling at him. He was dumbfounded and stared at them, a guy approached him and patted his back

Guy: she'll be here, just wait for a minute.

Donghae's mom: why don't we sit down now? Soo In-ah, where's Ji Kyo?

Soo In: she's just outside, she's really nervous right now tita

Donghae's mom: oh, Donghae is also nervous to see his fiance. Oh, why don't we order?

Ji Kyo's mom: yeah, Soo In-ah call the waiter

Soo In nodded and called the waiter. While ordering, someone moved the chair infront of Donghae and sat on it. He turned his head to the person and saw Ji Kyo, his fiance, sitting infront of him wearing a peach colored dress with ruffles

Ji Kyo stared at him in shock and turned to her brother. Soo In was busy browsing the menu but he could feel that Ji Kyo was straing at him, he turned his head to her; he smiled and turned back to the menu. After ordering, everyone was awkward, well except for their parents. Donghae glanced at Ji kyo, Ji kyo glanced at Donghae and finally they stared at each other

Ji Kyo's mom: so, I guess we don't need any introduction. Am I right?

The two of them were barely listening to what their parents are saying and just looked at different directions but they looked at the same direction when Ji Kyo's mom started talking about their engagement and everything that's going to follow. Ji Kyo stared at her hands while her mother speaks while Donghae was smiling because of pure happiness

Donghae's Mom: so, its all settled? oh yeah Donghae Ji Kyo, we'll leave you now. You should bond a little more okay?

They left before the two of them could give their answer. After their parent and her brother left, they felt awkward because knowing the fact that she is now engaged with him and he is engaged with her. After a while, Donghae stood up and went to Ji Kyo, she raised her head and saw him offering his hand to her; she accepted it and they went out of the restaurant

Ji Kyo: uh, oppa... where are we going?

Donghae: somewhere I can bring you and talk to you

He walked to his car and brought her inside. He entered his care and started to drive, they arrived at a place where there are not that much people around and the scenery is great. Ji Kyo went to the edge of the cliff and held the bars, she exclaimed and sighed

Donghae: why are you sighing?

Ji Kyo: its nothing oppa

Donghae: okay, do you like the scenery?

Ji Kyo: yeah, its beautiful. Don't you think?

Donghae: yeah, but you know what's more beautiful than that?

Ji Kyo: what?

Donghae: you

She blushed when he said that to her. she turned her head to hide her blushing face but Donghae made her face him. She stared his eyes and she could see sincerity. He removed his hands from her face and pulled out a box from his pocket, he kneeled down and showed her the ring that he bought earlier. He smiled at her and she smiled at him while tears started to fall

Donghae: This was supposed to be a sorry gift to he girl that I was going to meet but since it was you who became my fiance this ring is a thank you and a temporary engagement ring 

Ji Kyo: o-oppa

Donghae: Ji Kyo, Can I end up with you?

Ji Kyo: o-of course oppa! I would love to

She hugged him and he stood up. He circled hisarms on her waist and made her back turn to him. She looked at him weirdly but she smiled when she felt the ring on her finger and it fits perfectly on her

Ji Kyo: thank You oppa... but what will happen when the Uni will know about this?

She faced him and placed her hands on his face. He stared at her for a while and leaned over to kiss her forehead

Donghae: don't worry, as I have heard a while ago. Soo In hyung' going to handle all of it

Ji Kyo: oh, okay... I love you oppa

Donghae: I love you too Ji Kyo, don't you ever leave me again like last time okay?

Ji kyo: I promise! [hugs Donghae] I'm so happy that you're mine. Its not just something that I fantasize now

Donghae: oh so you were fantasizing about me, what are you thinking? me without a shirt? all of it can wat after the wedd--

Ji Kyo: oppa! its not something like that, its something that I thought impossible

Donghae: and what is that?

Ji Kyo: its about you being mine, me being yours

Donghae: aigoo~ *laughs* I'm also happy that you're mine Lee Ji Kyo

He leaned his face again and cupped her chin up. After a sec. their lips met and touched, Donghae kissed Ji Kyo gently and she gladly responded to it. It was a gentle but passionate kiss shared by two person who love each other. They broke the kiss after a while and stared directly in each other's eyes, Ji Kyo smiled and Donghae smiled after seeing her smile

Donghae: I'll never regret loving you. I Love You Ji Kyo

Ji Kyo: me too, I don't regret loving you. [kissed his lips] I love you too~
