Amber Josephine Liu was a busy person at her age. As she was climbing up the ladder to success and struggling to make a name in the business world her relationship with the beautiful Krystal Jung slowly broke apart like bread crumbs. Before she could notice that this would happen, it was all too late.
A.N.: Hello everyone! :) I hope you enjoy reading this fiction about kryber which I was able to ship silently for the past few months. Not containing my krber feels that is spilling over, I just had to make some time and give writing a fiction about them a try. Thank you.
Foreword
Months before....
A few ringing to the phone she answered, "Hello?"
"Hi there miss, do you mind if I would have a date with you? I am sure my girlfriend does not mind."
"Oh really Amber Liu?" She replied with a question in tow.
"Yes really, Krystal Jung."
After hearing that the voice on the other line seemed nearer than she thought, she turned around. Upon seeing the person who called her, she placed her hands on the waist like a wife demanding seriousness with her sharp glare.
"How sure are you of it? Isn't your girlfriend already enough for you?"
"Yes she is. That is why I am asking her right now to go on a date with me after I give her these flowers that I was trying to hide behind my back. But I think you already saw them."
Krystal cannot help but lower the icy mode down in order to chuckle and smile.
This was how things were for them. Before....
"Are you sure of it?"
"Yes, I am."
"And you are breaking up with me over the phone. Why can't you say it to my face??"
"A-Amber...Please..I.."
"You what?? I thought you understood! Is there another person? A man??? Tell me so it would make all of this easier!!"
Amber did not plan to raise her voice. Let alone be shouting inside her office with workers outside hearing it all. But she forgot to care and would not care anymore as the girl she thought love - scratch that - loved her calmly just one day broke everything off.
"No! There is no one else!!"
"Then tell me why?!?!"
"I think my feelings faded. But I did love you, believe me. I really do love you. I tried and tried but with things happening within your life and then my family's problem, I think it's best if we go our separate ways."
"Did."
"What did you say?"
"You DID love me."
"Sorry Am..."
"Please.... Don't say sorry if you really did love me... It makes you sound like you're apologizing. Like it was a mistake that you loved me."
"No! Please do not take it that way."
"No... I am sorry for not being good enough at all... Bye..."
"AM! Don't do this!! It's not like that. You will find someone better and - "
Krystal stopped as soon as she heard the other line went dead.
Inside her office, Amber's tears kept on falling down her face and she did not bother to stop it as she thought 'What if there will never be someone better for me?'
