"Go and get what you need from your house and then come with me.  It's not safe here anymore," Daejung said, stowing his gun in the waistband of his trim, black pants.  Jaehwa stuffed her own gun in the back of her jeans and started walking back toward her house.  A rumble of thunder echoed in the distance and the rain began to fall harder.   Jaehwa and Daejung stepped into the house through one of the large openings where the windows used to be, glass crunching beneath their feet.  'What's going on..?' Jaehwa wondered as she looked around the large living room at the bullet holes covering the walls and furniture.  She couldn't believe she had managed to escape the attack.   "What will I 'need' to bring?  Where are you taking me?" she asked Daejung who stood quietly a few feet behind her.  "You're coming to stay with me, at least for a while; you should be safe there," he replied, "Just grab whatever you think you'll need."   Jaehwa glanced back at him.  'He shows up out of nowhere after eleven years and we're just going to start living together..?'  She turned and started walking toward the staircase, ascending it cautiously, avoiding the pieces of rubble left by the shootout.  When she reached her bedroom, she noticed that the two men she had taken down earlier were no longer there.  'They must have followed the others outside..'   She quickly pulled several articles of clothing from her dressers and stuffed them into the backpack she kept in the closet.  She then went into the bathroom and grabbed the essentials; toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine products and some makeup as an extra.  When she had finished, she rushed back downstairs to meet Daejung who stood in the living room waiting for her.  "Only one bag?" he said in a slightly teasing tone.   "I travel light," Jaehwa responded in the same tone.  Daejung chuckled softly and walked toward the gaping window.  "I have a car down the street."  He gestured for her to follow him and they both walked back out into the rain.  Now that her adrenaline had decreased, the rain made Jaehwa feel chilled, when previously, she had barely noticed the temperature.  She pulled her wet wrap sweater tighter around her, knowing that it wouldn't help to put a jacket on over wet clothes.   She followed Daejung around to the front of the house and spotted a silver car a good distance down the street.  Another rumble of thunder echoed around them as they walked.  As they approached the car, Daejung unlocked it remotely with a set of keys he pulled from his pocket.  Jaehwa got into the passenger side, joined shortly by Daejung in the driver's seat, and closed the door firmly, glad to be out of the rain.   Daejung started the car and did an abrupt u-turn, driving quickly in the opposite direction, away from the house.  As they drove, Jaehwa periodically glanced sideways at him, wondering what she should say.  After several minutes, she decided to start with the most obvious question in this situation.  "Why were you there?  After all these years, why did you
