[Day of Event]

the girls were in their dressing room getting ready to change. Sunny was not looking forward to performing, she was distracted at the thought of seeing Sungmin that when Seulong was stood in front of her she barely noticed
Seu: Earth to Sunny… - he said waving his hands in front of her
Sun: Omo, I didn’t notice you there oppa
Seu: ye, I figured – he laughed –  ‘ Why don’t we practice our part of the song’
Sun: Ye, that sounds good to me
After going over the song Seulong saw that Sunny wasn’t her usual self
Seu: Sunny? – he said softly
Sun: Ye oppa?
Seu: Are you going to tell me what’s wrong
Sun: What do you mean –she said sadly
Seu: Well why you seemed so emotionless when signing, like you were thinking about something else
Sun: It’s nothing oppa
Seu: Are you really going to lie to me? You’ve known me for a while now and you know you can tell me anything – he said with a warm smile on his face
Sun: I… well someone said something to me that hurt me, but it came from a person who I never thought would say such a thing
Seu: was it that bad?
Sun: if it was someone else who had said it, it wouldn’t have hurt me so much but since it was him, I felt hurt
Seu: So it’s a him?
Sun: Ye – she said keeping her head down
Seu: So we’re getting somewhere- ‘ Should I go beat him up?’ – he said seriously
Sun: Oppa I don’t want you beating Sungmin oppa – she said quickly
Seu: Wait, it was Sungmin?
Sun: Omo. Aish – she wanted to deny it but it was too late. She waited for Seulong to reply. Instead she heard him laugh
Sun: Did I miss something
Seu: No it’s just that it’s Sungmin who said it, I’m sure he didn’t mean it
Sun: Why does everyone keep saying that? It’s as if they know what he said – she said sternly
Seu: Believe me, the last thing Sungmin wants to do is hurt you, he’s probably the last person on this Earth that would hurt you – he said sincerely
Sun: Why are you defending him? When you don’t even know what he said?
Seu: because it’s sungmin.
Sun: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ‘ BECAUSE IT’S SUNGMIn?!’ people have been saying the same thing to me, that he didn’t mean it, that he wouldn’t dream of hurting me, as if they already know what he had said. – Seulong looked at the petite angry girl and took hold of her shoulder
Seu: Sunny ah? – he said in his soft deep tone. Sunny didn’t respond instead she gave a sharp look to Seulong
Seu: Are you really that blind? Can you really not see what’s in front of you? The one person who has given their heart to you still can’t see?
Sun: oppa, what are you talking about
Seu: Aigo… I’m telling you that S… - before Seulong could finish there was a knock at the door
manager: Sunny, it’s time to put your outfit on
Sun: Erm… ok oppa. Sunny said her bye to Seulong who decided that maybe it wasn’t his right to tell her about Sungmin’s feelings.
Sunny joined her members on stage for the rehearsal performance with SUJU, she decided that she would just work with Sungmin and get the performance over and done with. They got into their positions with Sungmin keeping his eyes on Sunny who kept her focus on everything apart from him. Sungmin knew he had to say something
Sung: Sunny sshi? – he said cautiously
Sun: What? – she said coldly looking directly into his eyes, she wanted to be strong and not show how upset she was but her eyes couldn’t lie.
Sung: Erm… do you think we could talk later
Sun: Fine. – was all she said. He knew it would be no use trying to start a conversation with her current mood.
Sung: Erm. Ok – he said sadly.

After the performance Sunny returned to the girls dressing room waiting to be called for her performance with Seulong.
Sungmin was in his dressing room with some of s, pacing around like a lunatic
Yesung: What are you doing?
Sung: Eh?
Yesung: Why are you walking around like that? You’re making me dizzy
Shin: He’s deciding whether to go to Sunny and talk to her now or not
Sung: I don’t know what guys means
Leet: Sungmin. Are you really going to keep denying this? Do you really think we’re that stupid
Kyu: Leeteuk hyung is right. You denying your feelings is going to eat you alive!
Shin: Just admit it. It will make you feel better. Just say it out loud.
Eun: Just let it out. Just say what you feel about her. Right here, right now.
Si: Ye. Go on hyung.
Dong: Go on just say say it. – Sungmin thought he was going crazy with the members talking constantly.
Sung: OK. OK. Stop talking at once you’re all driving me crazy.
Kangin: Well.
Sung: Ok. I like her
Eun: Her who?
Sung: LEE SUKYU! SNSD’S SUNNY! I like her. Actually I think I’m falling in love with her!  The fact that I can’t stop thinking about her it’s making me insane! – after his outburst he let out a huge sigh.
The members looked at him with a satisfied smile. Leeteuk approached him and patted him on the back.
Leet: Felt good to let it out right? – he joked. ‘ So, why don’t you go talk to her now’ Before Sungmin could respond Leeteuk was pushing him out the door
Leet: Just go for it ok? We’re supporting you 100%
Sung: Thanks hyung.

Sungmin headed towards SNSD’s dressing room. He knocked on the door and opened it slightly. The members were scattered in the room and were waiting to be called for their performance. Seohyun and Hyoyeon noticed him instantly. They knew he was there for one thing. He looked at them and bowed, they smiled at him warmly and pointed to the girl who was sat down on the sofa head low focusing on the familiar hand held device they used to bond over so much.
One by one the girls noticed his presence.  Yoona who was sat beside Sunny noticed Sungmin.
Yoona: Oppa! – she said shocked
Sun: Eh? – she looked up to see a pitiful Sungmin
Yoona looked at Sungmin and Sunny and saw the expression on their face
Yoona: Erm, I think Taeyeon unnie is calling – she said lamely and moved to the other side of the room.
Sunny looked at Sungmin but the returned her attention back to her game. Sungmin was unsure of how to react instead he sat beside her but ensure he left enough space between them.
Sung: Sunny… could you at least let me explain
Sun: Go ahead – she said rudely
Sung: Are you really going to behave like this? – he said sounding kind of annoyed that she was being immature
Sun: Fine. ‘ she closed the device, crossed her arms and stared directly at him. – Sungmin felt somewhat uneasy with her fierce glare ‘ Go ahead. I’m listening.’
Sung: I’m sorry. – he said sincerely. ‘ I really am. I didn’t mean to say those things. I was just angry at the time.’
Sun: Just because you were angry does not give you the right to just say whatever you please.
Sung: I know. I know. And I was wrong. – he said pleadingly. Sunny’s face eased and she was no longer as angry but rather curious
Sun: Oppa… why have you been acting strange with me lately? We’ve had arguments in the past but you’ve never once said anything so mean to me. What’s wrong?
Sung: I... - *should I tell her? I should just tell her right? What’s the worst that can happen?* Unknown to the 2, the girls were all eavesdropping, despite the 2 being far from them, they really wanted Sungmin to just confess to her.
Tae: Why won’t he just tell her? – she whispered
Soo: I know right, the 2 of them are driving me crazy – she responded
Sung: I… I don’t think I can say it yet – he said, frustrated with his on inability to just be honest
Sun: Fine. If that’s how it is. – Suddenly Sunny stood up which confused Sungmin.
Sung: Wait, Sunny ah where are you going? – Sunny was now in the centre of the room, the girls couldn’t help but stare at the situation between the 2
Sun: If you can’t even be honest with me then I see no reason for us to carry on with our friendship. – the girls gasped. Their eyes close to falling out. ‘I would be thankful if you were no longer here when I return.  Just as Sunny was about to reach for the door she felt a tight grip pull on her wrist
Sung: I haven’t finished talking. – he said pulling her towards him. The girls moved away from them quickly.
Sun: Let go of me – she said keeping her eyes glued to his.
Sung: No. Because you are being unreasonable.
Sun: Me? You’re blaming me? You’re the one who can’t be honest about your goddamn feelings! One minute you’re fine with me then suddenly you get cold. I’m no mind reader SUNGMIN. You’re so frustrating! – she yelled
Sung: I’m frustrating?! You’re the one who’s frustrating. How does everyone else see it but you don’t?! Ugh. – he moaned
Sun: See what? What is it that everyone sees but I don’t?! – she shouted their faces inches apart
Sung: THAT I LOVE YOU! – he yelled instantly. ‘Dammit Sunny! Can’t you see that I love you!’ Ugh!
The girls mouth opened instantly, Sooyoung almost dropping the coffee in her hand.
Sunny’s face remained blank. It took her a few seconds to process what had just happened. She saw the look on Sungmin’s face, he was angry, sad yet relieved all in one.
Just then there was a knock on the door, it slowly opened revealing the SUJU members.
They felt the tension in the room.
Kyu: Erm… are we disturbing?
Yoona: Erm…
Leet: Sungmin we need to go
Sungmin: ok hyung.  – he bowed to the SNSD members and quickly headed out leaving Sunny in a state of shock. When the door shut the girls ran to Sunny who seemed blank.
Seo: Unnie, are… are you ok?
Sun: I… Did… what the hell just happened. – the girls looked at one another none knowing what to say.
Tae: Look Sunny… - there was another knock at the door
Yuri: is it me or have we had lots of visitors in this dressing room today – she said randomly.
Staff: Sunny sshi, it’s time for your performance.
Sun: I … erm… ok.
Sunny looked at her members, they gave her a comforting smile, she knew there were many questions she wanted to ask.

Later that night the girls spoke to Sunny about the situation.
Sun: So you all knew
Tae: That oppa liked you?
Yuri: Of course we did. It was way too obvious
Sun: You could’ve told me
Seo: We didn’t think it was our place unnie. And honestly, we thought you would’ve figured out for yourself.
Jess: Ye. I mean the way he looked at you, he had heart shapes forming in his eyes – she joked.
Sun: I don’t get it. He never said anything.  – she answered
Soo: I guess it was never the right time – she said casually
Sun: I need to talk to him.

Sunny wanted to talk to Sungmin but with their schedules and the fact that Sungmin had been intentionally avoiding any sort of communication with Sunny it was hard for her to talk to him. A few weeks passed and still no communication. Sungmin was working over time trying to forget about her while Sunny was losing focus as her attention was on Sungmin.

 A few days later Sunny along with her members were at SM practising. Sunny also found that some of the SUJU were there. They were gathered in the canteen, the members of both group were unsure of what to do so they decided to let the 2 handle everything.
They were talking happily when the members noticed a familiar figure walking towards them.
sunny had her back towards the figure so she couldn’t see who it was.
Soo: Oppa, I didn’t know you were here. Sunny turned around to see the face of the guy who had her heart and mind doubting itself. He looked tired, his eyes no longer glowed and his smile couldn’t hide his sadness. Sungmin looked at her but then looked at the other members
Sung: Ye, I had to do something.
Soo: Sit down Oppa. – Sungmin looked at the members and then quickly at Sunny. He didn’t feel ready to sit with her.
Sung: I… I don’t think I can, I have to do something – he lied. Everyone on the table knew it even Sunny. She watched him quickly making his way to the exit. The members looked at Sunny who just kept her eyes on the figure that was getting further away.
Sun: Where is that dummy going? – she whispered
Eun: Go follow him if you’re curious
Sun: I’m not. – the members just shook their heads at their members stupidity
Eun: Are you just going to watch him forever? – he said killing the silence
Sun: What?
Hyo: Sunny. Go after him.
Sun: and say what?
Hyo: Whatever your heart tells you too. – she looked at the eyes that were on her. They were telling her the same thing. Absentmindedly she stood up and ran. When she outside she realised that the sky had gotten darker and the rain was beginning to fall heavily however she knew she had to find him.
*Damn this fool* - she moaned. She looked to her left then to her right. She could see him walking, getting further away
Sun: yah! SUNGMIN. STOP WALKING. – Sungmin saw the petite girl running towards her in a t-shirt and joggers.
*What the hell is she doing*
Sung: What are you doing Sunny? – he moaned
Sun: Going after you!
Sung: Go back inside you’re going to catch a cold! – he ordered
Sun: Not until you listen to me. – he felt sorry for her, the rain wasn’t getting any lighter.
Sung: Fine, I’m listening – he said. He wasn’t in the mood, somehow he felt he knew what she was going to say and he didn’t want to hear it
Sun: why do you keep avoiding me? – she asked
Sung: I’ve not been…
Sun: Don’t lie to me
Sung: Aye… - he let out a breath knowing that there was no way of getting out it. Despite him wanting to lie his eyes always told the truth when he looked at her. ‘You’re right I’ve been avoiding you’
Sun: But why?
Sung: I… B…Because – he stuttered
Sun: For once… just tell me the truth. – She said almost begging. The rain pouring even more, they were drenched but they didn’t care, Sunny’s watery eyes were hidden due to the water droplets that camouflaged them.
Sung: Because every time I see you it hurts. Knowing you can’t be mine is something that I am constantly reminded of whenever I see you. – he admitted. Sunny could see his honesty and she couldn’t help but feel touched as the tears began to fall.
Sung: I shouldn’t have said anything, I’ve ruined everything haven’t I? I’m really sorry. – he said keeping his head down ‘ I will try my best to be professional’ he added his voice becoming faint
Sun: YOU’RE SUCH AN IDIOT! –she screamed her tears falling
Sung: I’m sorry. – he could no longer look at her, he wanted to hide the tears that were about to fall. He turned around and began walking away while Sunny just stared at him glued to the floor.
* Are you really going to let him go? Is this it? Did he just give up like that? Where is he going? * - Sunny’s mind was filled with questions.
But for some reason, her legs began to move. She ran at full speed and crashing her body on Sungmin’s back and wrapping her arms around him, catching him of guard.
The 2 were at a standstill. Sungmin could feel his heart pounding,
*Wh…what is she doing?* - he thought
Sunny however held onto him tighter resting her face on his back.
Finally she spoke
Sun: Oppa… - her voice was low
Sung: Su…Sunny? – Despite him being sure as to what was happening, he didn’t want her to let go. He felt warm with her arms around him despite the continuous rain
Sun: Stupid. Stupid. – she repeated. She began crying. Sungmin slowly turned around to see her crying and he wanted nothing more than to hug her.
Sung: Sunny, please stop crying
Sun: H…how can you… just – ‘ she tried to talk but her tears were making it difficult ‘ just walk away without… hearing what I have to say. You’re so selfish!’ she finally said
Sung: I’m… I’m selfish – he repeated with a weak smile
Sun:  Ye! You’re selfish and stupid. I can’t believe I love a stupid selfish fool like you! – she pouted
Sung: I AM NOT STUPID!! AND I … wait what did you say? – he asked
Sun: which part? I said a lot of things – she said smirking slightly
Sung: The love part – he said shyly
Sun: Oh… the part where I said that I can’t  - she began taking small steps forward while speaking ‘ believe that I love a stupid selfish fool like you’ they were now only inches apart, looking at one another as if they were in their own world
Sung: You? Love me? Like as in love? You’re not joking right? This isn’t a dream? I’m not just… - before Sungmin could continue speaking he felt a pair of small cold yet smooth hands cup his cheeks. He saw the girl he had grown to love with her eyes closed moving closer. He didn’t know what to do but remain still. He could smell her sweet perfume as her warm lips pressed against his. he slowly began to loosen up, and carefully wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer.
he kissed her slowly and gently not wanting to do anything stupid, he loved the feeling of her in his arms. The kiss was slowly turning passionate as Sunny allowed him entrance and their tongues played with one another. But suddenly their moment was ruined
*AHEM!AHEM!* - Sungmin couldn’t help but laugh.
Sun: Don’t laugh – she said shyly. She blushed when Sungmin her cheeks and stared at her lovingly
Sung: I told you were going to catch a cold! – he said calmly
Sun: Aish…
Sung: Come on let’s go. – he grabbed her hands intertwining his fingers with hers leading the way.

It was already evening when the girls returned from SM. The girls were walking down the hall of their apartment
Tae: Where did Sunny go?
Yoona: Maybe she’s with Oppa
Soo: Do you think they worked everything out
Hyo: I hope so. They were so frustrating – the members laughed
Jess: What if they didn’t work things out?
Tiff: Then maybe it wasn’t mean to be
Yuri: She should have called by now. – Seohyun opened the door first and walked into the living room
Seo: What if … - she caught a glimpse of 2 figures on the sofa and almost died of shock ‘OOOOOOOOOO’ – she quickly covered before she disturbed the figures who happened to be sleeping peacefully on the sofa arms wrapped around one another with a blanket covering them.
Tiff: I guess they did more than just work things out. – the girls were happy to their member sleeping peacefully in the arms of the one she loved.
Hyo: About time. – she said nonchalantly
Seo: Are… What the… omo. –the youngest was still in shock.
Tae: They look so cute together
Jess: They do don’t they – the girls remained silent with happy satisfied smiles plastered on their faces.
Yuri: This is cute and all… but when do you think we can wake them up? I kind of want to watch TV soon – she added. The girls looked at her and laughed .
Yuri: What? – she said with a blank expression.
