Foreword

Yes! I still have so many stories to do but this really made me go crazy! inspired by Into Your World. Is this too cliche? Wait for the whole story and you'll find out. Don't worry guys, this will be a short story. Maybe 3-5 chapters so it won't affect my other stories. wieee.. Support this too, okay? :))

PROLOGUE

"Luhan, it's time," I heard my mom said. She entered my room then fixed my collar. I was wearing white pants, white polo shirt and white shoes. I remembered when I was little, I would wear an angel's costume on Halloween for trick or treat. I wore my Mom's old white dress that she fixed for me three days before Halloween so it would fit my small frame and wings made of cardboard and cotton. We used to do it overnight with my little brother but that was before. Today, my quest would be given. I'll be a guardian angel, a true guardian angel.

She fixed my collar with seriousness on her face. It was cute though. When she finished doing it, she fixed my hair, patted my head and smiled with worry on her face.

"Luhan, I know that you'll do well." She my head once again and I gave her the most confident smile that I could manage despite the nervousness that built inside me. Then I saw her necklace glowed between her collar bone. We didn't age here in heaven but my mom looked like she aged ten years more when she saw the necklace's light.

"Your brother Sehun is really a trouble maker, Luhan," she said. I chuckled. Yes, my mom is my brother's guardian angel. I wish I would have someone I know, someone I care about too so guarding him or her wouldn't be that hard for me.

We stopped walking in front of a big palace, Father's place. It radiated so much pureness, kindness and power that you would just want to live there the rest of your eternal life.

My mom kissed me on the forehead, nodded, spreaded her wings and flew away wherever my troublesome brother was.

I slowly went up the steps until I was already facing our Almighty God. I knelt and bowed my head.

"Xi Luhan, today, your journey as an angel will start. Guard her with all your might. Protect her with all your best.. She looks as innocent as a lamb but she's really strong. She's smarter than anyone think but she's lonely. I hope that you'll lead her to a happier future and Luhan, my son," he momentarily stopped so I looked up.

"Yes, Father?" I asked.

"The barrier.... The rule...," he said.

"Yes, I shall keep that in mind, Father." I bowed my hand again then I felt Father fixing my hair. I smiled to myself.

"You're all ready now, son."

"Thank you, Father." He flattened his palms over my head then large wings, my own wings started to grow on my back. I felt a tinge of pain but warmth overwhelmed it.

"You shall go now," he said, a warm smile tugged on his face. I bowed once again before getting up and flying wherever my wings woud lead me.
